Great Ride... when it wants to start

Was looking for a 4WD/AWD hybrid suv that still had some buttons to actually adjust things without having to use a screen for basics. The ride is smooth and quiet, features have been nice upgrade, and dealership/service has been great. However... When you go to get in the vehicle and it won't open and won't start ... Yeah becomes a deal breaker real fast. Taking it back in as 12-volt system is again bad; have to pop handle to get in with manual key, pop the hood and jump it if it sits for more than a few days - NOT ACCEPTABLE! I work from home and don't need to drive every day but I need a reliable vehicle and this is not it. Getting very good at jumping this vehicle though the "requirement" of having a jumper pack on hand for regular use of vehicle is not working for me. It's not like it gets driven, I'm averaging about 1350 miles a month just doesn't get driven every day. I should be able to let a vehicle sit in garage or someplace like airport for a few days without concerns that I can't drive it again (I'm in WI and ice coating makes getting to manual door lock is a pain).

Extremely disappointed!!!

We traded in our 22 Tucson expecting a better experience only to find out that we lost features and had problem with the lane safety and speed limit assist features that we did NOT have with our 22 model. The lane keeper would pull you off the road to the right, or across the db line into traffic if you would let it. The speed limit assist lost the ability to keep the posted speed limit display current on the dash icon; it goes out 20 seconds after the cameras see the speed limit sign and it no longer displays the speed limit, therefore no longer knows if you are over the speed limit. THE 22 DID NOT DO THAT! Apparently you now need the factory nav system to provide additional satellite speed limit info for that display. THE 22 DID NOT DO THAT! The seats are not as comfortable ans the 22 was, lumbar not in the right spot. Also lost the turn yellow signal indicators in the mirrors, with seemingly the same package (SEL). Overall, VERY DISSAPOINTED with the vehicle. Service department replaced the satellite antennae to "supposedly fix" the speed limit assist problems, IT DID NOT FIX IT! Service department keep the car a week to work on the lane assist issue(s), and after initially being told there were no windshield camera adjustments or calibration, factory tech assistance had them do a "hidden" camera adjustment. The lane assist feature was somewhat improved, but compared to the 22 we traded in, it was not really that much better. I would gladly have Hyundai take the vehicle back, refund our purchase, and have our old Tuscon back, but don't expect that would happen. We were VERY SATISFIED with our 22, and really just expected engineering, software, and features to be better the 25 than what we had. My ratings below are as compared to our 22 model... Okay, we DID gain a self-lifting rear hatch over the 25, and we DID like the improved dash design.

Looks great, but disappointing so far...

I'm so grateful to have had a few Hyundai's in the past decade, so I was excited to make a bold move and lease a 2025 Tucson HEV with the Convenience package. My last Tucson (2023) was wonderful, virtually no issues at all and I was actually debating keeping it since it really was an excellent model. My expectations were high, but I haven't been unhappy yet - until about 3 months after receiving the vehicle, that it. The first (but not last) problem was the driving cameras. The vehicle's driving convenience features would take me out of my lane unexpectedly, turn off randomly and even just stop working mid-cruise. It was frustrating and anxiety-inducing, so I brought the vehicle in to the dealership for assistance. The dealership was unhelpful and lacked any customer service, but after 3 attempts and a new dealership, the problem was finally resolved. This issues took over 4 months to find, and it was a single camera malfunction. The next problem happened a few months later and still persists. Bluelink and my remote sporadically stop working. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to the error, sometimes a reset fixes the issue, often time is does not. As a feature of my brand new vehicle, I would hope Hyundai can resolve these issues so I can go back to having a good driving experience. Overall, I was hoping for another great experience with a new Hyundai HEV, but it seems like the new Tucsons have traded some of their quality for quantity. There were so many great features that I added to my car because they were described as being helpful, yet the past year of having the 25 Tucson has been the largest auto-related headache I've ever experienced.

I do not like this vehicle

There are many flaws with this vehicle such as lack of foot heater when defrost is on, constant fogging up the windows, have to wipe them down everyday, feels like it’s all over the road, mirrors are lined up to my eyesight so I’m blinded by car lights at night, steering wheel blocks important parts of the dash, radio is possessed, when I use my wiper fluid, the radio cuts out, one time it played static and would not stop even with the car off, had to pull the fuse to make it stop. Heater is terrible, drivers side takes forever to warm up but everyone else in car is warm.

Very glitchy tech stack. Several chronic issues with that. Dealership misinformed, under informed, cavalier about my early concerns about the glitches. Bring it to service they say. The car has less than 1500 miles on it.

Tuscon HEV. Poor Fuel Economy for a Hybrid

Had vehicle for about 5 months and 4,000 miles. Love some of the features but.... - One of my primary goal was fuel economy, and this vehicle does not deliver. Sticker was 35 city, 35 highway. Reality is 30.5 city and about 29 highway. - Hyundai really has a problem servicing and providing service parts for their vehicles. Had intermittent problem with HUD and dash panel going out. 3 attempts to fix and 26 total days (mostly waiting for Hyundai to provide parts) to fix vehicle.

Hybrid doesn't seem ready for prime time

I originally bought a Tuscon hybrid in September 2025, I had it 3 days before it popped up with a hybrid drive error and refused to go into gear. It was towed to the dealership where they held it for 2 weeks before telling us to come pick out a new vehicle and they'd swap it out. So, we took the new vehicle and drove it until mid January, about 7,500 miles, before the same error occurred and had to be towed to the dealership. We are awaiting information on the problem and repair time.

So Very Very Sad

I had had a good experience with the Sonata I inherited. So, I was enthusiastic about buying a new Hyundai. It was to be the car/vehicle I would keep for years. I am so really unhappy with my purchase, car/suv. So unhappy. This is the worst big purchase I have ever made. Good tires. Good handling on the road--when I am able to be the driver. Horrible Horrible Horrible "driver assist" anything electronic. I have tried to deal with the dealer-Balise I HAVE never felt so UNSAFE IN A VEHICLE. as I do in this Tuscon 2025 (bought new from Cape Cod)

Software Restricts Driver - Awful to Drive

The software limits & controls the driver too much. Horrible diving experience. Need cruise control without lane correction or driver assist function. Need your “take a break” warning algorithm to be shut off as driver sees fit. Terrible to drive. Cannot wait to sell it.

Hyundai Tucson 2025 hybrid/using in winter

Well, those Tucson got great reviews, a lot of basic amenities are feeble. Living on the East Coast, especially in the winter the heating system is noisy, and doesn’t provide a lot of heat! I have no idea how the air conditioner won’t work in the summertime, but I’m sure if it’s powered by the same motor that pushes the heat out I’m guessing the air conditioner may not work much better. It’s a nice looking car. However, the rear turn signals are way too low on the rear bumper and in the bad weather, people can barely see them the driver attention warning located on the steering wheel like to remind you to take a coffee break after 10 minutes of driving! And you cannot turn it off whoever designed some of the enhancements needs to go back to basic what makes a car usable

Not totally satisfied

During purchasing process noticed some some hair line scratches on vehicle. Management promised to buff or repaint to remove scratches. Dropped off vehicle and a month later at pickup the scratches are still there. No resolution. Very disappointed

Hate the fact, I cannot turn off any of the safety features

Car ride is fine car safety features are highly annoying. Unfortunately, I learned after the fact that you cannot turn them off in the 2026 Hyundai Tucson. So if you drive any distance, you will be constantly reminded in multiple ways to look at the road, pull over to get coffee even though you’re not driving poorly. With a camera on the steering wheel if your arm gets in the way it will cut your cruise control. Pull you down multiple miles an hour immediately ending. I could go on and on. I bought my car and sold it in 2 1/2 months. That’s how much I dislike this car. Would not recommend it at all. Now, I’ve given you your review quit contacting me.
