overall quality

Limited edition, terribly poor ride quality, seating is uncomfortable, bad vibration during final shift in transmission from EV to gas and back, fit and finish is poor at best. cheapest plastic products on most all of the vehicle. Informant system is overblown. Overall Vehicle Terrible product

Worst car ever bought

Bought it in Jan 2026. Have made three visits so far to the dealership. Blower motor needed to be replaced and now cameras are out and not working.

Lots of defects , this car is not the best

Not a powerful vehicle, annoying warning please take a break lights come incessantly without being able to turn them off, very rudimentary system and auto brake kinda is the boss of the car because it does whatever it wants, doesn’t allows full control to driver and even makes it dangerous

1300 miles transmission and hybrid issues. The dealer has had it in their possession for more time than I have.

I would like my money back

I have prescription glasses that are effecting the cruise control and active lane assist. I found out Hyundai knows of this problem and has issued a bulletin regarding this issue. I have been requesting a buyback for months now and am lead in circles. The sticker also says 37mpg and the most the technician could get on the highway was 31.7mpg. The service manager says that is fine because there is actually a fluctuation of 20 to 40% deviation only one way and that is down. I am so frustrated by this a may never own another Hyundai product as well as my whole family and anyone I speak to

Not what I expected

Test drive of 2026 Tucson Hybrid Limited was awesome. Now that I own one, I wonder if it was the right purchase. Upon a fresh start, the engine is quiet. Nice acceleration, etc.. Once the engine warms up, that's when things change. The engine sounds worn out and is much louder than a cold start. Neighbors have asked me what is wrong with my engine because they can hear it when I drive by. I have doubts the engine is going to last. Example: in first, second and maybe third gear....why is the engine charging the battery while accelerating? It goes back and forth between Hybrid and charging. When you'd expect the battery power to be helping accelerate, its not. The dealer had my car in the shop for 2 weeks about 1.5 months ago. No issues found. Said its a small engine. I have a problem with that. If its a small engine issue....why does the engine sound different after the first start in the morning versus after driving on the highway for 30 minutes? I sounds like a worn out engine...something I knew very well back in the days when all I could afford was a worn out car with a worn out engine. Was told by the dealer the reason they kept it for 2 weeks was to rule out a recall on the regular 2026 Tucson's for an engine issue. Something about a loose connecting rod bolts. How in the world does an engine recall happen within a couple of months after a new vehicle is released in 2025??? Hyundai bought back my 2012 Sonata 2.0 due to an engine recall (engine bearing failure). Thankfully that car lasted until 2025.

Almost a great vehicle, but….

This vehicle has an extremely annoying feature you can’t shut off and it’s enough to keep you from buying another Hyundai. It keeps telling you to “Consider taking a break” even if you absolutely don’t need one. You can’t shut it off and it goes off inappropriately. It’s really poorly designed. I’m a retired automotive guality engineer/operations manager. My specialty was Customer Satisfaction, and Hyundai didn’t get it right!

The gray seats show dirt and dye from blue jeans. The dealer said that they can clean them and seal them to prevent. This has not happened

Check engine light

Twice the car has randomly lost power while driving under cruise control on a 2 hr journey. Check engine light comes on. Powertrain issue. Then check engine light goes off so the repair shop won't look into it under warranty. Is has 2500 miles on it. Brand-freaking-new car

Too many concerning issues

Like the look and ride of the car. However, we have found three issues that make us sorry we pruchased this vehicle; 1. We understand the gas cap door sometimes gets stuck closed. There is no easy access to open and we are very concerned about getting stuck on the highway with no gas!! 2. We understand the battery can lose most of it's juice from all of the digital updates. It is difficult to access the vehicle with a dead battery as you have covered the key hole!! 3. The vehice constantly alerts us that it is time to take a break. On a one hundred mie trip, it aerted me 20+ times. On a windy day when the car gets moved around a lot, it is even worse. There is no way to shut this off. This really annoys me to the point where i want to get rid of the car after only two thousand miles. 4. I had a RAV4 hybrid. It got close to 40MPG mixed driving. This car is closer to 32 MPG. All safety is good you have to make seat with more support for long trip i just cant drive so sad gives my headache with the head rest but everything else is good
