I purchased my Tucson a month ago and really like it. It is easy to handle and drives well. I mainly drive it locally and almost never have to fill the gas tank. I am very happy with my purchase so far.

Did not consider Hyundai at first, but happy with my purchase

I spent last summer researching PHEV small-medium SUVs. I viewed several "Top 5" and "Top 10" lists, and was doing further research on a couple of models at the top of the list. Then I did one more search like this and the Hyundai Tucson PHEV was at the top. I figured that I owed it to myself to at least test drive it, and when I checked inventory, my closest Hyundai dealer had the exact model I would buy (color, features, package). I was impressed by the test drive, though I made it clear I was still researching. I went back for this vehicle (which they luckily still had) and am happy with the purchase.

**

I really like the plug in/gas option on the car. I use the electric feature most of the time as I drive around making short trips. The car is comfortable to drive/ride in. Reading the manual is a must for me as there are so many features to learn about. I am enjoying my new vehicle.

Great style, handling, comfort

Still getting accustomed to all the technology, but love it! The car has great style and is super comfortable. The plug-in is easy and is saving so much on gas as most of our driving is within the 30 mile range. Exciting to up our game with this purchase!

Best vehicle I have owned/leased

I leased a 2021 Hyundai Tucson and had driven it for 2 1/2 years and was very satisfied, but had always wanted to go into a hybrid/plugin hybrid vehicle. I started to do research between the Hyundai Tucson and the Kia Sportage and found that I liked the Tucson better. The 5yr/60,000 mile warranty always plays a big part in me purchasing or leasing a Hyundai/Kia and this vehicle is no different. It is doubley important on this vehicle as I believe I might purchase it outright at the end of the lease. I could not be happier with every aspect of this vehicle. The mileage that I am getting is unbelievable and it is a pleasure to drive. It is slightly larger and higher that my old Tucson and this is also a major plus.

Great car

The Tucson PHEV drives and handles well. It would be good if it had a larger battery to provide 50 miles on a charge and a larger gas tank; say > 15gallons. The full touch screen UI for the audio/navigation system is a little cumbersome and take some getting use to. A couple of knobs and a more intuitive interface would help.

GREAT FOR OUR USE

We are retired and do most in town driving and top off the batteries when nessesary. still on first tank of gas getting over 90MPG. It is very quiet and comfortable. Rear seats have plenty of head room for our 6 foot friends.

Love this car

I bought a 2024 Hyundai Tucson PHEV. I am getting the stated 84mpg in the first 1000 miles. I love the ride, comfort, and handling. I am using wireless Apple Car Paly using a dongel. After 1000 miles, I couldn't be happier with this purchase.

Great Car

Excellent quality and performance. Lives up to the plug-in ability; all short trips all electric, long drives in hybrid mode, no need to re-charge on long trips. Really good intuitive safety features; blindspot cameras are excellent. Surround view is amazing! Dashboard gauges treat the electric side as an equal to the gas side (equal fuel gauges, eco monitoring, etc.) Best way to go electric without range anxiety.

Great Vehicle that checks all the boxes

First - plug in battery and electric motor allows around town trips through out the week to be gas free while having gas for longer rural adventures Second - great features and interior that feels luxury, sunroof, speaker system, great headlights, heater seats and steering wheel, even heated back seats. Third - reliable all wheel drive and a better ground clearance than any other vehicle in the category Fourth - reasonable price for everything you get

Why Hyundai Tucson PHEV?

I was a 2013 RAV4 owner prior to the Hyundai Tucson PHEV purchase. I considered and drove the 2024 RAV4 PHEV. The RAV4 has better EV range and overall performance but I decided on the Tucson for the following reasons. It was easier to drive, quieter AND more stylish. Some complain about the lack of dials on the instrument panel and infotainment area, but I like it--it is a cleaner look and no problem once you learn button locations. I also like the push button shifters now that I have gotten used to it. (It's too bad the engineers didn't put the reverse button in back and the drive button in the front on the console). So far, I have been very pleased with the car and think I made the right decision between the RAV4 PHEV and the Tucson PHEV. I am hoping for excellent reliability and the Hyundai dealerships supporting the warranty and maintenance agreements.

Hyundai Tucson Hybrid Plug-in

It is not a Miada, but is a great utility car that can car a load of materials for travel. It is comfortable and a pleasure to drive. I have not complaints. The lane-keeping assist and blind-spot monitoring systems have been wonderful features that makes driving a safer experience. Thank you!

Lot of features for the money

Lot of features for the money. Great styling and looks. I leased this SUV to replace a 2007 BMW 335xi that I was very fond of but it had 135,000 miles on it and was starting to need a little more TLC to keep it going so I researched several vehicles before settling on this one. I was skeptical about Hyundai but after driving this one and getting the end of the year deal/rebates found it too compelling to pass up. I have not had it very long (only 433 miles on it so far) but each time I take it out it continues to impress me with its performance and ride quality. Lots of bang for the buck.

Went Tuscon PHEV with some doubts - THRILLED after first month!

My wife is in LOVE with her new 2024 Tuscon PHEV AWD LTD. It took me most of a year of wrangling to get her to even CONSIDER letting me explore trading in her low mileage showroom perfect White 2019 Lexus NX 300 H luxury edition with rarest two tone interior, just to see if we could lower payment and maintenance/operating costs while updating some of the tech without giving up any features, comfort or cool factors. Within one day with her beautiful and striking deep marine blue Tuscon with light grey interior she had forgotten her Lexus! GO ME!!

The car is solid and rides quiet. Traction is great with upstate New York winter weather. Seats are comfortable and heated seats work great. Plug-In Hybrid engine is perfect for daily short trips and great mileage on long trips .

I love this car

I love the technology built into this car and that if I work the electric with all my local driving, I can often average 80 to 100 mpg. My goal was just to use less gas. I also like playing with the numbers and looking at my most recent trip and my averages and I like to chart each tank of gas and how many hours I spent in the car. These are all useful tools for me. I'm in my car lot taken care of various real estate in town.
