My Tucson

Our Tucson has been very reliable with no big issues in its over all quality and performance. It has gotten better miles per gallon than was advertised, so it’s been economical to operate, and the all wheel drive, which was a selling feature for me, has been wonderful for the Minnesota winters we experience. At trade in time I expect we will look for another Tucson, as it fits our life needs and lifestyle.

Mostly good.

Undercoating motly look not good. Mechanical steering wheel difficult to move and set. Not a very smooth ride. Too much road noise. Not enough leg room in back seat. Several small things need work done. Nuisances. Backup lights are not very helpful in the dark. My 2013 Tuscon is ok, but not one to fall in love with. Looking at Ford Flex as possibly being my next vehicle.

Little things

This is our 4th Hyundai and first Tucson, we usually buy Santa Fe models. Probably our next car will be another Santa Fe. The Santa Fe has many more features we like. The only real complaint is the cup holder and visual problems with the way the front window is blocked by the part of the car that surrounds the window on the sides. It makes it hard to see for someone short 5'3" like me.

Too freaking small though!! Gas mileage is lacking.

As far as snow, pretty darn good. Nothing makes up for snow tires you’ll still slip on this four wheel drive without them. At 40,000 and nothing but oil changes thus far. Everything perfect condition still. Only gets twenty per mile though which kinda stinks. Not the worst. Back has like no space so if that’s an issue for sure go with like Santa Fe

Amazing Warranty

My Tucson is great until I needed a new transmission at 54,000 miles. In service for 2 weeks. Thankfully, my warranty covered the cost of my service & rental car. I am required to write more but nothing else to say.

My ride

Great car ? does everything that it was designed for. Only thing I have to complain about is the very loud road noise inside the cabin. The car is very lacking in sound suppression. This is the second Tucson that I have owed. The first Tucson was the year they first came out and I got the first one sold in Shreveport at Roundtree Hyundai. The first Tucson was a much better car the the one I have now. No more Tucson’s in the future for me.

Not Enough

There isn't enough cubby wholes to store stuff. My Santa Fe had a lot of storage space to put things and or hide things but, the Tucson lacks that ability big time.... I wish that I had kept my Santa Fe instead of trading it in. The only thing that I like about the Tucson is the fact that it has some get up and go to it, in other words it has a lot of speed and a little kick but that's it.

Love my Tucson

When I purchased it I was sad to see that I could only get a stick shift with a stripped model, but the Tucson runs well for the most part - I did not purchase the car from Route 44 Hyundai (if that makes a difference). Makes more noise on road then some other cars I have owned. And I have had a weird banging periodically that no one seems to figure out why. But all and all I would probably buy another one (when needed). The blind spot is a bit challenging but I just adjust for better visibility And why does it not have an outside temperature gauge - that perplexes me

My tucson

I love the car have had no real problems with her. Only bad feature is lousy gas mileage from day one. Also radio reception is lousy. I do get a gas allowance for the year for difference in sticker gas rating & what it actually gets.

Appropriate Car Size form very young drivers and Seniors.

My Hyundai Tucson rides very well. It is easy to maneuver on busy highways. Nice fir long distance travel. Has adequate space for travell bags and groceries-shopping It accelerates quickly and the mileage is fairly good.

i bought the car 2013 as pre owned no problem at all during those yrs but now it started having issues no choice but go and repair it A/C is one of the isuue sa right now need to spend a lot of money.

Bumpy car ride

Well so far the vehicle has not died on me that's good but it just seems very shaky and a bumpy ride and in this area there's a lot of train tracks and a lot of potholes be nice if the suspension was better

2013 Tucson

It's a good vehicle and it's been reliable. I have not had any major issues with it, and shouldn't with it's young age. There are little things about it that I wish it had - better technology is a big one. For being the high end model, it lacks some basic upgrades that other cars have on lower end models. There are other vehicle options out there. I have started a list and will shop around more the next time I'm ready to purchase a vehicle.

Gas mileage has never been better than 24 mpg which for the small engine makes no sense. Brakes tend to accumulate dust and frequently squeak because of it.

Blue Tucson Limited AwD

Ok after 4 yes of ownership it doesn't get great gas a mileage . The engine is noisy and is under powered. Seats too narrow and need better controls. Backup camera and navigation pod has electronic issues. Overall it's overpriced for the quality.
