Transmission Has Been a Continuing Issue

Love the car, but the transmission is NOT reliable. Either I step on the. gas and nothing happens, or I step on the gas and it lurches forward. Have already had 2 "software updates." Not sure it is fixed just yet AND, it's dangerous! Someone's going to him me because it doesn't go, or I am going to hit someone because it lurches forward!

Hesitates to pick up speed when you press the gas. Does NOT idol quietly Vehicle alerts randomly sound even if another vehicle is not in the area.

Not Happy

Rubber door seals bad after 6 months. This vehicle has/had a hesitation problem. Not a smooth ride that I would expect from a vehicle in this price range. I have had less expensive vehicles that have rode better. I didn't realize I was buying something that rode like a dump truck.

not all I had hoped for

The electronics not all they should be. Hard to get voice recognition to recognize. Google on my phone much better at finding places than car locator. Scroll will stop at a touch that was meant to send it down or up.telephone cant be heard from passenger seat to caller. Only can be heard from drivers seat. Cargo space not as large as ny old sedan.seats can go down of course but even with a third perdon in the car.

2016 hyundai tucson

They did a bad job on the transmission, it does not respond to accellaration correctly. Has been 2 recalls and only does better for a week or so. The engineers that developed this transmission needs to go back to drawing board. good car except for transmission, would not buy another hyundai because of this, have owned 2 prior to this purchaxe

Hyundai Tucson 2016

I was very happy with my purchase up until when the engine light went on.they said it was because I didn't click the gas cover. But they fixed it, it came back again the following week.I took it back, then it was on again the next day. A month passed and the light was on again.. ..I took it back hopefully it won't go on again. Is not supposed to be there at all, is a brand new car. Other than that everything else is good for now.....

Want to know if this is in the tremendous recalls that are coming out not, do not feel so safe anymore. Brakes do sound funny, but check out ok when car is maintained.

Likes and Dislikes

I leased a Tucson before, 2013. Biggest complaint with that was the constant squeeky brakes when backing out every morning, other than that I preferred it to the 2016 I have now. I don't see a lot of improvement in 3 years, this one for dinner reason isn't as nice inside, has bad blindspots, just not as sold on it. When my lease is up I'm going to carefully drive the next one around and make sure it's what I want before I purchase, as I don't want a lease again.
