Lemon vehicle

I have been in the dealer service department monthly since i bought this car,the transmission jumps and no fixed at all,the dealer say it is a factory problem and they can not do anything,the 4 windows broken, the latches broken ,the roof paint fading,oil pump and brakes pump recalled,software recalled twice,etc,etc,etc.Bad product.

Hyundai Tucson

Unhappy with engine overheating and emergency situation on highway within first six months. There was a recall for this problem which I was not notified about. I don’t like the acceleration drag and missing as it changes. Blind spots could be improved

Too many issues. Performance, a.c. windows. Unreliable performance. Stalling,hesitation, . A.C. problems. Both windows motors have broken. Details on car exterior fade, Too many issues for a 31,000 car.

Average vehicle

Overall this was a great car for the money the fuel economy is amazing and the acceleration Speed is very impressive overall the interior is very poor sound system is very low quality and the seats are very uncomfortable the AC also doesn’t seem to preform well I did purchase one of the lower trim packages and I’m very happy with my purchase and I feel like I definitely got my moneys worth although some of the features are noticeably low-quality

Not a happy driver

Car has had a very bad hesitation since I got it. Recently had to have the AC serviced. This is the only vehicle I have ever owned that need this type of service 3 years into owning it. Periodically I loose the map, etc on the nav screen. Have to turn off the car, open and shut the door and restart the car. Car is comfortable but wishing I had gotten the Subaru instead

Many issues

We have had an issue with several things. The brace that holds hood up malfunctioned and came down while adding washer fluid. The A.C. discharge of water was coming into inside of vehicle. The clock stopped working.

So-So

I owned a 2012 Santa Fe and absolutely loved it. Then I was involved in a car accident & my Santa Fe was totaled so I then decided to go with a smaller SUV, the Tucson. At first I liked it but the first winter it handled horribly in a snowstorm. Then I noticed I had no action in the car, probably because it is a 4 cylinder ... duh. NO get up and go, it hesitates alot. I do like some of the features but I would NOT get another once, no way.

Poorly built transmission

Vehicle transmission seems cheaply built. Feels sluggish and delayed. DCT also has shudder/jerky hesitation on acceleration. Overall vehicle just feels poorly made. Although the styling is nice, the performance of vehicle does not match the styling.

Very rough shifting in the lower gears.

The vehicle almost stalls out if the gas pedal is not 'coaxed'. It is a safety issue. Hyundai has made no effort to fix this acknowledged problem.The response is that Hyundai fixed the issued in the newer models.

Still have issues about the DTC transmission and dealing with Hyundai USA has been a nightmare. Tried of Hyundai dragging their feet to repair my Tucson. Loyal owner of 7 Hyundai’s & hate Hyundai USA

Transmission issues

Transmission issues when accelerating the car spins out as far as the transmission goes when you step on the Excelerator the car doesn’t move and go forward and can cause an accident I have taken it to the dealership multiple times for them to take care of and they want to charge me for the diagnostic Test the print out of my vehicle shows that it had a transmission issue before I bought it I thought it was a new vehicle but it was not and they sold it to me as a new car I’m very upset and don’t trust that dealership anymore

2016 Tuscon

The vehicle is "meh". The double-clutch system sucks. If Hyundai had any honor they'd replace the transmission with one that works since this one has been ditched in newer models. The "program" adjustments really don't work. I don't want a replacement since we don't want to restart a car loan with Hyundai. I Won't buy another.

Trouble

I loved this vehicle at first but after many trips to get the shifting fixed i would never buy a Hyundai. The shifting has got me stuck in traffic and almost killed. Even after a transmission change it still lags a little bit. I owe a lot on this vehicle or i would trade it in in a heartbeat..

A lemon

My Sonata was a wonderful car! Hyundai service was great. Then…I bought the 2016 Tucson! The transmission went crazy the first month. Every time I took it in they said there was nothing wrong. It kept happening. Actually died on the railroad tracks. After that I never felt safe in my vehicle.This problem barely got resolved a year ago.The windows wouldn’t go up. The ac compressor went out. The dealership is amazing. I think I just got a lemon. I was asked to join a lawsuit, but because Hyundai has provided good service I declined. Overall I give Hyundai a 10 and my 2016 Tucson a 3.

My first Hyundai

This Hyundai is my first car of this brand and at point I am so depressed to change from Nissan to this the local dealer is so arrogant I feel discouraged to go back every time I have a service also I have a new transmission five more recalls at this point.

Lemon

Clutch would stall the car when entering traffic which almost caused a couple of accidents. Two years later Hyundai finally fixed it. Then it started burning oil 2 to 3 qts. between change. Hyundai has keep me on a oil consumption test for two yrs, but not sure if they will fix it.

2016 Hyundai Door and Windows FAILURES

I am the original owner of a 2016 Hyundai with less than 26K miles. Over the past year I have had both front windows and the rear drivers side window stop going up or down, also the rear passenger side door won't open. The two front window repairs cost close to $900 each because the plastic crap inside door panels wore out from minimal use and the rear one is being held up by a SUCTION CUP !!!!! Not going to pay that again. I have learned these are common problems with no resolution by Hyundai.

Tuscan Sport is great

I really like the Tuscan sport, I wish I would have held out for the limited trim because I enjoy the blue link features, rear heated seats and vents and the sun roof.
