Hate this VEHICLE!

The car design is very appealing/attractive-The electrical issues are way to difficult to duplicate or fix. I absolutely wish I would have never bought the vehicle. I am now paying on something that I don't drive.

Started out great now is terrible

When we first purchased our 2018 Tuscon it was one of my favorite vehicles we have owned but now is the worst. With about 17000miles we had to replace our tires which is terrible. The car has had many issues with noises that makes the pricey car seem cheaply made. The drivetrain seems like it is having issues especially in the front transfer case where it makes a rather large whining noise that seems like at some point it is going to overheat and fail. We spend too much money to have as many issues as we have had and if we had the ability to get out of the loan without losing so much money we would have traded the car in already. I was asked by numerous people in the beginning how we liked the Tuscon and it was LOVE IT. Now its HATE IT. If some service department could take the car back to how it was early on in year one my feelings would change but I don't think it's possible. I think when you are spending $32000.00 you should get a quality product not something that you hate a year into paying the auto loan. If someone is reading this who can help than please do so, as I am going to lose my mind the next time I take my car in for service and nothing is resolved.

The dealer is your old school car dealer-They do and say whatever they have to to sell a car. Once you take the car off the lot they want nothing to do or hear from you unless you want to buy another car.

Hyundai NO THANKS!

Within the first 30days of buying this car the wipers started falling off moldings on the doors were coming off and the car was extremely loud took it to the shop and they refused to fix anything told me I had to pay for whatever they had to fix everyone was so nice when they had me there 5 hours buying the car told me I would have no worries I was covered bumper to bumper but once you buy the car Hyundai changes everything. Also if you pay off the vehicle and you have had them on autopay on your account they’ll still continue to take the monthly payment. They then tell you they’re going send you a refund then you deposit it and it gets snatched back outta your account quickly. Endless calls because for months they say it’s on its way but you still see no refund and again you’re calling till someone says we’re sending half that amount because we took a loss on the car. How if I payed the buyout amount did you take a loss? End results the buyout isn’t what they tell you it is and they continue taking the payment after the buyout amount is paid they yes you to death on the phone and you still don’t get your money back. They are thieves plain and simple. I’ll take my business back to where I’ve been buying from the last 3new cars before this putter

Ongoing dual clutch transmission issues with Hyundai Tucson

I had this vehicle to 3 Hyundai dealerships with transmission safety issues (Hyundai is well aware) with this 2018 Tucson. Just because no codes display on the computer DOES NOT mean there is no problem!!

Poor Performance

This car has a clutch problem and Hundai has not been able to fix it. Horrible experience. I would not recommend this vehicle unless they fix this problem. It is a safety issue and they are not fixing it fast enough.

Jerks when pressing the gas everytime

Was told it is normal for this car. And the dealership could not do anything. About it. It stalhs out everytime I press the gas and jerks really hard when it’s finally ready to go. Apparently there’s a lot of other people complaint abo it this issue too.

Dual clutch system is UNSAFE

Do not buy this vehicle. Hyundai has known about the acceleration issue since 2016. This issue can cause a severe accident because it will not accelerate at times. Just picked the car up from the dealership where it was for 24 days for repair. West lake Hyundai service was horrible at keeping me updated.

Great vehicle if your looking for something new but but poor quality

Poor quality, average performance for a 4 cyl. Fit and fishing below average. Dealership are crooks. Service department of said dealership was excellent. Overall experience between car and dealership. Will not recommend, will never purchase a hyundai again.

Should come with ear plugs

It’s incredibly loud when driving, all you here is the load hum from your tires. That is of course, when you can get it up to speed. Don’t expect any immediate responsiveness between the gas pedal and the engine. It’s almost dangerous because of it.

Never Again

Transmission went out twice in 6 months!! Dealing with Hyundai was a NIGHTMARE!! I will never buy another Hyundai again. Double check with consumer reports before you buy new or used, two re-call on this car.

Below average

Overall not impressed with the vehicle. Gas mileage is no where near what is advertised. After months of having comparability between my phone and the maps option In the entertainment system it no longer works. Im also suddenly find that the Air conditioning is not as cold as it was. There are times that I travel 1 mile and the vehicle will record 5 or 7 miles.

A Picture is Worth 25K

The Tuscon looks great in a picture or parked in the driveway. The interior design is exceptional and the comfort level is more than appropriate. However, the engine is terrible when it comes to power, and with the lack of power, it gets less than stellar gas mileage. It is the perfect vehicle if you are going from home to work, provided work is next door to your home. Additionally, if the geography around your house has ANY hill, forget it. Either stay home, leave with 45 minutes extra time, or use Uber.

I am not happy with the price I paid for nothing in the car because this car has no features. I feel I should have gone to another dealership because I would have bought a better car and gotten a better deal. I am not satisfied with this vehicle. If it was possible to return this car I would.

2018 Value Tucson

Sale was to quick and late at night that I never realized nor was told there was no cd player. The radio in the vehicle is awful, stations are constantly staticy. I enquired several times and was told " most people use cell service or memory stick down loads." What an answer sorry but paying 32k NO DISCOUNT and not having a radio that works and the system it self is aweful WISH I NEVER TRADED MY 2016 in... THe pick up on this is horrible. suppose to be turbo , wel\l I step on the gas to go and becareful, If you don't floor the pedal the car hesitate and almost feels like its going to stahl... Then it was suppose to have blue link. was schedule for training got there to find out, No this car doesn't have it. Even though I paid big time for such features......To easy of a buy that late at night, and didn't even get to pcik a color. was shoved into this car. I've tried inquiring but every time I have I've been told they are busy and come or call back on MOnday SOrry I shouldn't have to keep trying to come or call back on a monday Nice people but not when your not happy with your purchase..... Love the full length moon roof and that's about it on this. I don't like the push button , no key access..constantly setting off alarm. To many things to remember to do to start and stop.... Really I have to say, I hate it.. I miss my 2016 Ruby Wine girl.......

Runs like an old used vehicle

I do not like the way this car runs at all. We haven't even made it to the winter and I'm afraid that this car will not be safe to drive in the snow as hard as it runs on the clear streets. I do not like the way it stalls at all.

Good value but dealer has been unable to fix car so it runs without stalling at slow speeds

Overall I like the car. It is my second Tucson. I wish I used a different dealer though. Style looks similar to Lexus SUV. Inside seats are not leather but nicer than expected. Sun/moon roof is a big hit with the kids. However, dealer has been unable to make the car stop stalling at slow speeds. This has been happening since I drove it off the lot.

ride is bumpy

The doors are hollow and how does that provide protection? The ride is bumpy and has a vibration in it even after service. The noise is loud from inside the vehicle with all the windows up.... not as good as you make it sound.... wont purchase again

Fancy Transmission is Terrible

My 6th Hyundai over 28 years. The 7-speed dual transmission is horrible, racing through gears 1-2-3 like a hummingbird on crack. Or it lags pulling into traffic. It's scary and dangerous sometimes.
