Grrrrr

Both headlights went out and door handle sensor went out all before 30000 miles on a 2018. Scared to think what's next. Really want to trade it in. I want to trade it. Too new to experience any issues.

Stay away! Harmful to your health!

Could be an amazing vehicle for the price but the build quality is cheap and very alarming with the materials used that emit some of the worst off gassing I have ever smell. Once Hyundai rectifies and acknowledges how harmful their materials are and actively seeks a way to fix this major health issue they will be unstoppable.

Clunky transmission.

Make my visit to your service RIGHT. Clunky transmission. I was told by the selling dealer that is the way it is. Clunky performance is normal. Your vehicle should have a cemers in the right side mirror like your competition had two years ago.

Don’t do it

Required to fix a recall that then caused engine failure. Wasted a month sitting at the dealership waiting for a new engine, then they just fixed a wire. Ugh. Not sure I trust a wire fixed after a dramatic engine failure.

Like the look but disappointed on takeoff

I really do like the look of the vehicle. For the value I think it has some great features. It also handles quite well in the snow. I am disappointed in the the power of the vehicle is lacking. Also the vehicle “hesitates” or revs up quickly at initial takeoffs. I have been told that is just how this vehicle’s transmission works by service techs. If I would have realized this when I test drove the vehicle I would not have bought the vehicle.

Tucson

Poor performance. Lack of power. Ride is not smooth at all. Would not recommend. Our Sante Fe was great. Tucson leaves a lot to be desired. Vehicle looks nice but looks aren’t everything. Can’t wait until the lease is up.

I’m terrified to drive it

I’m very scared to drive it. It has accelerator issues and I keep getting told it’s “normal.” I definitely have a lemon. Ready to scream. I’m going in next week and asking the service manager to look at it. Fix it or switch it.

Good, Strong SUV....Except For Dual Clutch Tranny

I Love The Design and Durability Of The Tucson! But, I am Very Dissatisfied With The Performance Of The Dual Clutch Transmission! Every Time I’m in Heavy Traffic The Car Shakes And Stutters Like It’s 20 Years Old. Luckily, I Leased The Vehicle And WILL NOT BE PURCHASING AFTER THE LEASE IS UP!!!! I ACTUALLY WISH I Could And I Should Be Allowed To Return The Car Early!!.....Really Badd Situation!!

Brakes excessive grabbing at low speeds bobbing in slow traffic Nausea

Poor Brakes design when stopping at low speeds , Many complaints, asked to speak to an engineer and no Hyundai Customer support that was credible or useful. Gas milage not as I expected sorry I bought this Vehicle.

Looks good-thats about it

I think if it ran as good as it looked it would be a wonderful vehicle- Too many electrical issues. I am just waiting for the vehicle to leave me stranded one day. This is the first Hyundai I've owned and it will defiantly be the last.

Not overly impressed

I'd test driven several models of mid-sized SUV's. The Tucson I purchased was the best deal I received from any of the 5 dealerships I visited. I tried cloth seats vs leather, which were super hard, so I chose leather seats. They are somewhat hard, but not as hard as the cloth seats. I chose an SUV to replace my car to be up a little higher when driving. I'm not impressed with the hard handling of steering wheel, the lower than expected gas mileage per tank- range says 400 when tank is full, but most I've gotten was 345 miles on a tank while driving on highway in Eco mode, and the constant engine strain and up shifting when accelerating normally in any of the 3 drive modes (regular, eco or sport) is very annoying.

not what i thought

when i saw my tucson i loved the color, the rims, the sunroof and of course the price. a couple of months in to buying my first ever hyundai i experience problems. shaking while driving, while braking, while letting fo of the brake and they dealer can't seem to find the problem. took it once and they said they fixed it but that didn't work. oooh it again and they couldn't duplicated the problem which is odd, and now i have to wait to go again and leave my car again because there are no more loner cars because of another recall. this is crazy... but i am not 100% satisfied with my purchase.

I love my Tucson

I absolutely love my Tucson! It's cute, reliable, comfortable and fun to drive. Other than my liftgate not working and replacing the front light bulbs twice, it's been amazing! I would recommend this SUV to others.

Great vehicle with a terrible transmission

I like everything about the car except that the transmission is not good. Often it is unresponsive when I need quick acceleration, which could lead to an accident. Because of this I would not recommend this vehicle, which is a shame as otherwise it is very nice.

HD Radio sound is mediocre

The sound of the radio sounds the same when it is not in HD Mode. Daylight savings feature doesn't work in my vehicle. Have to change the clock manually. I have more power in my old Tucson. The four cylinder doesn't have the power my old six cylinder Tuscon had. I don't think I will buy another Hyundai again.

Tuscon DCT 2018

Vehicle design exterior and interior are great with innovative designing. The innovative DCT is not great. I am very disappointed. I loved the warranty but having transmission issue at 25,000 miles has be discouraging and a turnoff.

Dual Transmission

My Hyundai Value Sport 2018 has a dual transmission, half manual/half automatic. This is bogus for a two year car. My car of two years stutters when pulling off from an idle position. It is hesitant at lights and downgraded streets. Stay away from the Hyundai Value SUV, not worth it. The Value is the mid grade. Question to ponder, why does an suv have a dual transmission anyway? Total waste.

Performance

Vehicle was great until it started having stalking problems and dealership can not find anything wrong; I always feel like it will break down on me now especially when I’m stuck in traffic. You spend so much on vehicles for them to end up not being reliable.

Issues

This car is cute but I have had ao many problems. This car was in the shop for more than 4 months this year. Mo one could figure out the issues. The corporation electricians couldn't figure it out. Such a disappointment since the car was less than 2 years old.
