noisy and exhaust stinks

front bumper too low.in high snow areas,this might break off if it hits snow on the road. heat is too slow to come on.mirrors are too small.exhaust stinks badly.seat belt too low on drivers side .engine is very noisy. side mirrors should be heated in northern areas

Not worth the cost

Will never buy a Hyundai again. To many issues for a new car. The dealerships and Hyundai corporation doesn’t help me fix the issues and they won’t get me out of the vehicle. I owe more than it’s worth and they want to put me in a car that doubles my payments.

Affordable,reliable, worry free maintenance, the sad issue: Has a very small gas tank, not the best value for gas usage , slow on exceleration response , my 2018 tuc has had (3) front end alignments requiring all 4 tires , $$$$$$$$$$ Gas mileage-$$$$$$$$$ Engine oil usage-$$$$$$$$$$

I don't enjoy driving this SUV at all

This was my first SUV from driving sports cars and sedans my whole life. I don't think this one is for me. Even though it's a turbo engine the dual clutch transmission delays the engagement and until it's in 3rd or 4th gear its not getting out of its own way. When I push the pedal I want a vehicle to immediately respond. Otherwise the vehicle is just OK. I don't think it's exceptional in any other categoy. I wouldn't buy this again.

The 2018 Tucson It’s alright, but not your best, the performance is not the great. The trunk is to small and the compartment between the two seat is very inconvenient to reach.

Very slow, not enough power when trying to pick up speed very sluggish. I had the 2014 Tucson and it was great more than enough room in the whole car. In this car you can barely turn around to reach the change compartment, Not a good feeling.

Tuscon 2018 sport model

Thus could be premature, so I will CV one back to update, if my feelings change.. first of all, love the look, it rides very well, we had the roof rack installed for luggage when traveling, I would warn you, as my sales guy moji, warned me, it is loud, it makes s lot of noise, if I could do over, would not have bought, I stalled roof rack.. the reason I am giving this tuscon 3 stars, is for the terrie looke gas mileage, I realize everyone drives differently., but I came from a 6 cylinder, long wheel base, 3rd row seat Santa fe, and it gave me around 18 in town, including hwy 19, with ac running 95% of the time... this new little guy. With its 16.4 gallon tank, have me 243 miles on a tank of gas, do the math that's about 16 miles per gallon... I pop ray this gets better, I got rid of my Santa fe, to save money, cages proper payments. Chea pi e insurance, and should be a lot better gas mileage... I just got this car last week, so I am holding my breath.. but I must say. It has real ln been disheartinf knowing, I could have 6 long years, in a smaller way ar, with very bad gas mileage,its a 4 cyclinder

It was great for me but the Hubby was a no-no

Hubby couldn't fit comfortably even after we test drove it we took it on a road trip and the truth came out. The hubby couldn't fit comfortably. His legs are too long and his knees would hurt. We traded up to the Santa Fe and YEAH!!! Success!!! It is a really cute vehicle and if it was just me I'd would've kept it.

2018 Tucson drivetrain vibration

I am experiencing a vibration in the drivetrain of my 2018 1.6 liter Tuscon that the dealership feels will be a recall as they have found the same problem with similar cars and can not find the root of the problem.

Double Clutch is Awful!!!!

There are so many things about this vehicle that I really like but I hate the double clutch and the fact that there is such hesitation upon accelerating that it is scary. If Hyundai continues to manufacture cars with this transmission system I will not be buying another Tucson.

Tucson

The biggest problem with the Tucson is the transmission and clutch system, it operates very poorly and needs to be changed. I have to be very careful taking off from a stop because I don't know how the accelerator is going to react. Most of the time it hesitates, sometimes it jumps, just never know. Otherwise it's a great car.

Tucson

Overall a pretty good vehicle other than the tire pressure sensor. I would recommend to my family and friends. The Tucson was in our price range for an AWD vehicle. It fits my family of 4 comfortably.

Ok

I get great gas mileage but I settled for a vehicle less than what I traded in. I do like the Android Auto implementation. Not happy with the underpowered 4 cylinder on take offs. The hesitation on take off is dangerous when pulling out into traffic. Wouldn't buy this model again personally.

Not really a car to love

I thought I would after three months feel better about this vehicle , but I just do not love it. It is not good on gas, the seats are uncomfortable and it is missing features I really wanted and thought I was getting. Like a CD player....does everyone have to have an IPOD or USB drive?? And I thought I was getting a vehicle with lift gate assist..wrong..lied to again....The hatch space is smaller than my RAV 4 . I do feel part of my negativity towards this car is the dishonesty of the dealer that sold it to me. I was in an emotionally stressed state after having my RAV 4 totaled and I feel the selling dealership blew right over me...I was never instructed on some of the media/smart features and find some of the mechanisms awkward. I will probably trade this in next year and go back to Subaru.

Not going fast enough

Stepping on gas but not responding better especially a little up hill. At stop sign people bihind you will change the line because your car is not fast enough when you stop and go again. The sound of closing the doors is too noisy. Make it a little better like bip bip not teeeeeehn

Good start up car reliable and good warranty Not expensive to run and cheap service and parts.Small size suv,not the fastest or most powerful,but it is a decent car to drive with price tag most of people can afford.

Vehicle is ok but could use more power

I am giving this vehicle an average rating because it lacks power and the cost vs. the quality of the vehicle is more than it should be. Hyundai is getting way ahead of themselves on the cost of their vehicles now. I have been a Hyundai owner for the past 8 years and out of all of the vehicles the Hyundai Tucson is probably the worse in the sense of value. Now I will say that I was not that happy with the terms of my lease so that could have a lot to do with why I am even more critical of this vehicle. I did not get what I paid for. I will not renew with another Tucson. The vehicle exterior I will say is the best feature along with the technology. Android Auto is a great function.

I prefer my hold care 2015 tucson gls then that I do not think I have made a good deal for me and the rent can be too much for me the car is not bad it's only that I do not like it fause case for me.

One of the most Comfortable and reliable car in my life

There are some good things and bad things about this vehicle. One of the bad things are the power of the heating and air conditioning is so weak and poor! And the pros are the power of the car which is pretty powerful eventhough such a little horsepower.

Infotainment Screen Went Off Intermittenly During Startup

The infotainment screen did not come on on several occasions, not necceasrily only when it was cold/hot outside. This was an inconvenience because then the backup camera was useless because there was no screen to see what’s behind/nearby your back bumper.

So-so

Nice car, comfortable, efficient, but horrible acceleration. Had I knows it speeds up so slow and loud, I would have considered another vehicle. When I put the heat on, it takes long to heat up. Tires slide a lot in snow.
