Not happy with repairs already

Not happy with the amount of things going wrong with it after only one yr. The gas does not get to the engine or something at times. It jerks and I can push gas pedal all the way down and it will act like it is going to die by shaking and putting along. Really scary when going into oncoming traffic. The a/c started blowing hot air and it turned out to be the a/c compressor. Already after one year?

Nice vehicle

Nice vehicle if you are not in all the fuss of needing a vehicle that is fully loaded with extras. My only complaint is it seem slower power wise compare to my Nissan Altima I traded to get the 2018 Hyundai Tucson.

Tucson review

I don’t get excited driving the Tucson. Performance is adequate, appearance is way to much like most other small-mid size crossovers. Control placement is OK for the stalks, other controls need to be learned. Window & door lock controls are most logical of all.

Tuscon

I really wanted a Santa Fe and thought that was what they were bringing me , as they had to pick up at another dealer , I had signed all papers thinking Santa Fe ,so I have not really been overjoyed with the car. I like the Service warranty on Hyundai . To be honest when I get this paid down low enough I will be trading somewhere for something else . It is just not what I expected or wanted .It works has been good no problem gets go good gas mileage . I never heard of the brand of tires on it and that bothers me I don;t know how safe they are . I have to live with it another year or so .

Computer problems at 3600 mikes

Had recurring issues with ABS and computer that took 3 visits to hopefully resolve. This should not occur in a new vehicle. Dealer had to involve Hyundai in repair. I appreciate the dealers determination to fix vehicle but the problem should not have occurred

lights were bad at night. It showed a really dark spot and our sons noticed right away. I did not like that it was a turbo. It was not a smooth ride. I miss playing my cd's. I was not thrilled with the color of the car.

Review after one year of purchase

I PURCHASED A NEW HYUNDAI TUCSON 2O18 AND IT HAD BEEN RELIABLE BUT AFTER JUST ONE YEAR THE A/C COMPRESSOR CONKED OUT, ALL I GOT WAS HOT AIR. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT. I THOUGHT HYUNDAI HAD IMPROVED AND WAS MAKING MORE QUALITY PARTS ESPECIALLY NOW THAT THE HYUNDAI VEHICLES ARE BEING SOLD AT SAME PRICES AS OTHER MODELS LIKE, CHEVROLET, FORD, GMC ETC.

Great Looking

I wish this vehicle was better on Gas. I also feel the customer service at Bloomfield was nicer and patient, not so short with customers. Also, the price kof this vehicle could have been less than what it sold for, considering it wasn't fully loaded.

Style is like every other car on market,kind of boring

Tucson good mileage.very noisy tires heated mirrors not standard,no split rear window.good traction in snow. Display too complecated,redundant controls are useless.price good for basic transportation.

Moock car review

Absolutely love the vehicle but it shakes when you accelerate. Just wish I had one that didnt and I would keep it forever. The moon roof is my favorite part and all of my passengers! Hope the shaking stops so I can have hyudai for a long time.

Not Sure

Exterior design is really good. Performance and durability is questionable. For the model that I bought it seems that the engine does not match the weight of the vehicle. On my first trip the radiator was punctured by a small particle (radiator is too vulnerable). I had to wait 4 days for a new radiator, which caused a lot of hardship. The service is far from perfect.

A good, solid, and practical vehicle

The standard model Hyundai Tucson is a good vehicle for someone in the market for a solid and practical crossover SUV. It's acceleration is weak on the highway but it's not a high-performance engine so you need to know what you are getting yourself into. If your commute is not a highway commute, it's one short-coming would not be that big of a deal.

It's just an average vehicle.

Cargo area definitely needs to be larger. Just doing an average grocery shopping trip, there isn't enough room to store the groceries from the store to home. This is ridiculous. Road noise is bothersome. Sometimes I feel like I need earplugs to soften the noise.

Please fix the windshields

I have had a really difficult time with the windshield. I have never had a problem with dings in the windshield until I got this car. Within a few months I had a small crack/ ding in the windshield from the tiniest little pebble on the highway. Now I have had even bigger pebbles hit other cats and never make a scratch. I’m very disappointed with this. Also I with apple CarPlay was standard.

2018 Tucson Review

I bought my Tucson new, August of '18. It is a limited with the 1.6 Turbo with 7 speed transmission. The car is great other than the awful lag/hesitation you get in 1st and 2nd gear. I've read many articles about the same thing happening to other people/cars. I would have hoped that Hyundai would come up with a fix for current owners rather than just discontinuing the engine/tranny mix.

Tucson is ok, nothing special, but a very disturbing knocking noise that at first the service dept and customer service did not know what is causing it but then customer service tells me it's normal. Was actually insulted with this explanation.

This car is average in styling and performance. I do not like the hesitation that occurs from a dead stop of slow role when the gas peddle is pushed down hard. Could be dangerous when needing to move out of the way quickly.

Not so thrilled

I've had this vehicle for just over 1 year...3 weeks of that the vehicle was in the shop for abs system warning lights that would appear then disappear. On my third visit to the dealer they were able to trace the codes, several components (computer ) were bad and ground wires were detached. The dealer was great but this issue occurred at 3400 miles . I'm waiting for the next bomb to drop. Design wise the front end is just too low. My husband is 6"2" and he can't see the end of the hood while driving;parking so I'm 5'2 and I just hace to guess. Also the electronics are wacky at times. The vehicle drives fine and is relatively quiet but I doubt I would purchase another.

Mostly good

Only issue is with the GPS. Too many “No Results”. Mentioned it when I bought the vehicle and have notified my salesman of continuing problems. No one has recommended a fix. I have not been able to get anyone at the dealer to recommend a solution without me spending more money.
