Hyundai Tuscon

Despite fully pressing on the gas, it always seems that the vehicle struggles to get power: especially on the highway. Moreover, I feel that I always am needing to stop off at the gas station due to poor mileage.

Tucson

not very impressed with vehicle. blue link service stop working 8 months after purchasing this vehicle. After several trips to the dealership technicians can not figure out the problem with the service. I have a third visit scheduled with dealership to see if they finally fix this problem. It's been three months that blue link does not work.

NOT MUCH

Night lights are horrible and dangerous. The beam is restrictive and does not show clearly what is ahead, people, street signs, curbs, turnings etc. Just a terrible experience seeing at night, even on full beams when able. No where near as good as my old 2001 Sante Fe. This will be the last time I buy a Hyundai

2019 Tucson problems

My 2019 has 4 system problems: 1) climate control (unable to reliably set air recirculate button or vent modes), 2) headlights: sudden cutoff in the distance , 3) engine: manufacturer recall and 4) anti-lock recall.

It will get you to where you need to go...that's it.

We purchased this vehicle to replace our 2016 Kia Sportage that kept getting manufacture recalls, so we wanted to get away from it as we had no local dealership to service the recalls. We purchased this 2019 Hyundai Tuscon thinking it would be a good replacement. As it does have more room, the Kia had more power and didn't sound as much like a hairdryer when trying to get anywhere. The Tuscon, for it's price lacks a lot of features when purchasing the base model compared to other manufactures base models.

Not happy recently.

This is my 3rd or 4th Hyundai. Been happy with my Tucsons until now. The fact that I have to drive a vehicle that has an outstanding recall and in my opinion a scary one, I don't understand how Hyundai can get away with it. Can't even get a projected date for the part to arrive. Wasn't aware that a car with an outstanding recall cannot be bought or sold.

2019 Tucson

Transmission is slow to shift from a dead stop also there is not a lot of power it’s only a four-cylinder engine. Also there seems to not be enough air vents on the dashboard to cool the driver down while driving the vehicle.

Disappointed compared to my Sante Fe

To go from a fully loaded 2014 Sante Fe to a basic 2019 Tuscon and have repeated problems with performance and service totally disappointing, the salesman was only interested in making a sell and I ended up rushing into a new vehicle and negative equity and the car is definitely not a good value for the money I am paying.

Why doesn't the car have the blue Link installl

When the manager told us we have blue Link install and the sales rep said no and I can't install the auto start either or an alarm. So I why have to use my own car insurance only. For service they should relocate another and better location like Express

2019 Tucson -my second Tucson

When I picked up my new Tucson I complained about the very noisy engine. I was told there was nothing wrong. The following weekend I drove from Ft. Myers to Vierra Fl. My new car was noisy, steering wheel vibrated and car shook when I put it in reverse. When I got home to Ft. Myers, I brought my car in for servicing in hopes of having the issues addressed. They kept my new car overnight to see if my concerns could be recreated. I was told that they could not find anything wrong when tests were run. They said that I had to let the car “warm up” before I put it in reverse. I NEVER had that issue with my 2016 Tucson and everyone I tell this story to says Bull____. My new car still shakes when I put it in reverse, still VERY noisy and still has vibrations on the steering wheel. It’s 4 weeks old and I have 3 years to go on my lease. Not a happy Tucson owner!

Strange shifting

The vehicle overall is nice but it seems to have trouble shifting. Doors are a little hard to close, don’t seem to catch very easy. The lack of a CD player is a disappointment. We have had two service visits already with less than satisfactory outcomes.

This is my 3rd Tucson LE. It's supposed to be the best, it is not. It is dumbed up compared to the 2016 LE Turbo I had, no navigation anymore? Also, I loved the Turbo engine on the 2016, hate this new one, way worse gas mileage. Car is still good, but not quite satisfactory experience. Meh. The added bells and whistles are'nt great, limiting the "stay in lane" to over 40 mph is not good enough, and the frontal collision avoidance does not work, period.

Tuscon is decent but has two problems

Got my new car two weeks ago on Memorial weekend. I like the look and feel of my car. However it has two issues: - 1.) Front Collision Warning doesn't work at all. Not even once. 2.) Gas Mileage is very slow. 18 in city is what my trip meter shows. Hyundaiusa.com website shows 22/38 MPG City/Hwy. Not sure if its real or a typo on the website. This review doesn't let me upload screenshots or I would.

Okay for what you pay

You get what you pay for, nice car . I really hated that the second day j got the truck the button in the door handle stopped working and it took the dealerships 5 visits to fix and still didn’t get it completely right

This is an okay car.

The 2019 Hyundai Tuscon is an okay car, but the climate controls are sketchy and the hands free calling gets it wrong more often than it gets it right. It has good pick up but there is a lot of road noise and the tail gate takes forever to open/close. I don't know yet how well it will get around in the snow because I haven't had it through a winter.

Hyundai Night

More looks than handling. Would not recommend purchasing a vehicle because you love the way it looks and it is "similar" to my previous Tuscon. I should have walked away when the dealership did not present me with the figures promised me by their "customer loyalty" manager.

hyundai tuscan 2019

gave me a great deal on trade in and payments were affordable but not as happy as i thought id be.would have liked electric seats for moving forward/back, adjusting lumbar and etc, better gas mileage, more pick up when taking off

Tuscon 2019

So far disappointed. Would be more satified if Hyundai offered to fix problem with passenger seat since Tuson is new. Would be satisfied with a seat height kit or power adjust kit like drivers side. Also can not believe garage door opener is not standard equipment. Did not know when I bought it every slight detail must be checked.

First time Hyundai purchase

The overall appearance of this vehicle is nice and sport. From the rear it’s a bit plain. Use of navigation and controls are excellent as it has Apple CarPlay. Headlights are awesome almost blinding to other vehicles as I get highbeam flicker a good bit. However, if you’re looking for any power at all keep on looking. This isn’t the vehicle for you. We call it the dog because it’s lazy and not a runner. With vehicle advancement today there’s so much more that can be done with a 2.0 engine. I’d compare this to my 1988 Toyota Tercel from back in the day. Sadly, I’ve only made 2 payments and I can’t wait to trade it in.

I should have bought a vehicle with a larger engine. The car seems underpowered on the hills in Arizona. the ride is minimally acceptable. The salesman was excellent. Overall the vehicle is not too bad.
