It’s too small no third row

It use to be a third row but now it’s not. It’s very basic and now I can’t trade it in. No one wants it because of negative equity but they lied and said I could trade it in after 2 years of payments well it’s2 years and still can’t trade it. Matter of fact going on 3 years.

Good... While it lasts

We've barely had our vehicle 2 years and we're already experiencing problems with the trim and asb plastic parts cracking/breaking. I've never seen this happen in a vehicle before, and apparently neither has Hyundai because we're told it's not cover under warranty (for that exact reason. "Never seen this before"). Hyundai obviously has some quality control issues they need to get under control.

For a new vehicle it should have more options

I have always wanted a Tucson and now afer owning one for only 3 weeks I am sorry I purchased it. It doesn't even have a cd player in it. And the back up camera shows the vehicle to appear wider than it actually is. This vehicle is a great one but I just got a lemon.

Nice looking vehicle but

What a beautiful looking vehicle. Great paint job. Not well made. Very flimsy parts. Not happy with all the issues. With a new vehicle should not have any issues. Still waiting to hear from corporate.

Very slow pick up

Does not have push start or proximity sensor. Extremely slow pick up. Lane assist has pulled me into turn lanes when I’m not turning. Almost causing an accident. When I purchased it I though I had push start , I do not. Was promised a full tank of gas for having to come back since the “new” vehicle has a scratch on the bumper , they had to fix. Never received my full tank of gas. Vehicle idles rough, vibrates when stopped. I had a Genesis prior to this vehicle , zero trouble with it. Just not happy with this vehicle. Dislikes outweighing the likes on the Tucson. If I could trade this car for another Hyundai I would. This vehicle and the whole purchase has left a bad taste in my mouth. I’ve had 3 Hyundai’s now and have been very pleased. It’s unfortunate that I’m not having a great experience with this purchase unlike all the others.

Poor power and shifting problems

Very dissapointed with my recent vehicle purchase. It has little power and shift irratically at times down shifting from a higher gear causing high RPMs. It also has trouble catching speed when getting on the freeway or going up a hill.

Sales and Finance Not as expected or told

I had an 2017 Elantra and needed to increase size to transport grandkids so I inquired about an SUV when having service on the Elantra. I was shown the big SUV but too big. The Tucson was described as much like the Elantra with all the simililar features. The SUV does not have a sport feature so it is sluggish to move if needed to move swiftly. It does not have the same radio system or capabilities.plus it gets worse gas mileage. It really doesn't provide as much room for kids even and the storage for bookbags is less than the trunk. I also financed it with Hyundai and was told I would get a better rate than before but did not. I owed only $ 11500 on my Elantra with a 256 payment and now owe $ 29,000 with a payment of $ 420. I feel like I gave my car back for nothing in return and still making payments on it. Two months now and not getting any easier to stomach. I will try a bank financing to see if I can do better on the payment situation or even just the stone out of my stomach by trading the Hyundai and calling it all another sad car dealership story and join a support group with others in my neighborhood who warned me.

The SEL liftgate is horrible

The lift gate is impossible to raise and lower. It raises too high and it extremely heavy to lower. I am short and am an older woman and it is mostly unuseable. I don’t recommend this SEL version at all

Tucson SEL

Probably an adequate vehicle for a certain buyer segment. Not a piece of crap but should be better for the price point. However, I think you get better quality, function and less gimmick pricing with Honda. Really just wanted 2nd vehicle for errands and such. The savings stepping down form Honda to Hyundai is not beneficial in the long run. I guess the old adage holds true, You only get what you pay for!

Not the best Hyundai I ever owned

If you are looking for a stylish car, this is it. If you are looking for a solid build, this vehicle is not it. In my experience, you must buy a higher end Hyundai to get the quality you are looking for.

One of the worse car I have ever purchased.

The car hesitates constantly and you feel every bump. It is like the tires are made of solid rubber and the shocks are too stiff for the weight of the car. I have been buying American made cars for a long time and this car doesn't come close. I am 78 years old and this car is the worse I ever purchased.

Poor gas mileage and uncomfortable seats

City MPG estimate of 22 is a lie. I get only 16 mpg. That's worse than a pickup truck! Had the mpg estimate on the sticker been truthful, I would not have purchased this gas guzzler. Seats are 6-way power with lumbar support and still managed to be uncomfortable.

Older Hyundai much better

Think I’ve covered everything I wanted to say in the previous questions. The key fob needs improvement. Overall design needs to be redone. Power seat on passenger side needs to be standard on all models. Will go back to a Santa Fe next time around.

Is it really a reliable car?

I have had this car not even seven whole months and it’s been in and out of the shop with issues... Side note: I am up to date on all maintenance and do not drive aggressively at all. Not quite sure why this car is going through so many issues. This is my third Hyundai that I’ve been unsatisfied with. Giving two stars because I genuinely like the car but it’s not reliable.

Great car if they can fix the vibration the car has at a stop and the excelleration

Other than what Inuit in the Vehicle review title, great style and roomie. I would give it a solid 10 if the vibration and excelleration problem is fixed. I had a 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe and wished I had bought another. My next question to the Hyundai deal will be can I trade in the vehicle for a Santa Fe? I will be very happy.

Some Good, Much Bad

Nice looking, comfortable, lots of features for the money compared to other brands. However, car mileage and acceleration are abysmal. And that fact that I had to call a tow truck because the car wouldn't start does not inspire confidence. A car that is less than a year old should not be dead in my driveway!! I would definitely not recommend this car, or this brand. Spend more money and get a Honda or Toyota. I never had to worry about my prior Hondas' reliability. I think I'm going back to Honda!

I hate this car!

Not what I expected. The fuel economy never exceeds 26mpg. The head rest on the drivers seat constantly pushes on my head. The speakers rattle. The car jerks during acceleration. I wish I had never bought this car. This car will not last as long as my Hyundai Elantra. (10 years and 247000 miles). Im feeling major future issues.

Poor

It burns a lot of gas. Sounds loud when driving. I already had to have something repair before. 2019 with 4000 miles on it. I think I was ripped off for the price. I have to fill up 2 a week. Gas mileage is very poor.

not what expected

was very disappointed with the headlights on this car and not able to have driving lights. also not enough cargo area to haul very much. I only buy Hyandai cars but this one was disappointed in it. This makes the 10 new Hyandai cars I have bought over past 15 years

Great SUV with many features that make this a superior value

This is a great vehicle for the money. Many features are standard. Can't beat the warranty. Would like to see reduced road noise, better fuel economy, increase cargo space and increase headroom at top of front door opening.
