Can be a second vehicle and not primary

Ok for someone who drives less but not for someone who drives a lot. It consumes too much gas. Its definitely not fun to drive the car. I have fears while taking turns which I did not experience in other cars like Mazda cx5. If given an option i would like to change to a hybrid option to save my gas bills.

Bad MPG for a hybrid

Hills and weather negatively impact MPG in a big way and for a hybrid it’s mpg is horrendous. Comfortable ride great styling. Tge touchscreen is a fingerprint nightmare. They should have kept physical buttons and added a matte finish instead of glossy.

Just missed the mark

I wanted to like this car. Styling is great but there are several small quirky annoyances that keep me from loving it. Remote start doesn’t work great. Interior speaks, seems like a premium look but cheaply made.

Waiting for a fix

I love my 2022 Hyundai Hyundai Tucson Limited Hybrid. It is fun to drive. Has lots of high tech. Fairly good looking, but at 3100 miles I experienced trouble with a whirring/howling noise. It sounds like an electric bicycle motor upon acceleration, deceleration and running at high speed. I hear a constant noise from the front of the car. I have an appointment it's been quite a while waiting to get in to get this addressed.

Based on these headlights I feel like this automobile is a fatality waiting to happen. I've had many cars and this is the only one I've ever felt unsafe in. It has lots of safety features but these recessed headlights need to be changed and never used on another car..

Gas mileage on hybrid could be better

I get 29 MPG with the hydrid. Vehicle shoukd really be 40-50 mpg and hope future models improve on this. You are paying a premium for hybrid so the expectations are higher. First year hybrid model bugs need to be ironed out

Great SUV, poor mileage

The sticker estimates 39mpg city, 38mpg highway. Currently getting 29-32mpg with over 5000 miles on the odometer. Great styling, comfortable, good technology. Did I mention the poor gas mileage? It really stands out.

Tech needs work

Decent car, good price. The technology does not work. Apple Car play cuts in and out intermittently for now reason. Makes it impossible to use maps if you are in traffic. Qi charger overheats phone making it useless as well.

Good for a hybrid,

Good acceleration and MPG, several annoying minor issues they need to be worked out, average value and lacks some feature basic on comparable models from other makers. I would wait until next model year to see if they address some of the bugs and issues.

2500 miles and already need service and they make me wait 10 days? Unacceptable. Went away on vacation. Came home and vehicle was completely dead. Since then, vehicle drives rough. Another vehicle got too close on highway and screens went completely black and disconnected my phone call

Good

I’m disappointed with the miles per gallon. I’m receiving 27 miles per gallon and advertised 36/37 mpg city/ highway. I was hoping for a full tank of 500 miles per gallon but I’m getting 435 or so. I was hoping to see this huge difference with the mpg but not to impressed for being a hybrid.

Not happy with powertrain

Rear AC won’t work no matter what I do. Engine/transmission is very jerky especially coming from a 21 sonata with the same engine. The transmission downshifts when going down the highway on flat ground without changing the throttle input. It’s hard to get the seat exactly where I would like it.

I like the vehicle not in love with it

It was bad experience at the dealership I wish the vehicle got better gas milage the radio looks nice but a fan of the Bluetooth connection once you start driving it plain vehicle but it is clean inside and out I just feel like I over paid for the vehicle and it doesn't do enough for the price

Overall good build quality with Low acceleration low power tight steering Waste of these surveys as Hyundai does not care about the customers or does not monitor the dealers who are selling the cars over MRPS. Worst customer experience. Took 25 minutes to do the survey which of no use as this is an automated email from Hyundai and does not even care about the review or fix the issues which I am currently facing

Annoyances

Comes with no mud flaps and are not available 6 months later. Takes the app a long time to lock your vehicle and isn’t always successful. Can not manually lock the car. Safety or not the back up beep annoys my neighbors every morning when I exit my garage. The radio does not work when I’m using maps. It defaults to other CarPlay media. The back of the vehicle is angled so it gets coated in dirt after leaving the car wash by the time I get home. Otherwise it’s ok.

2022 Hyundai Tuscon Hybrid

I loved my vehicle until the inverter coolant tube exploded after only 1 year of owning the vehicle. The dealership has had my car for over a week with no repair date in sight. This has been an awful experience. Definitely research before purchasing. The vehicle AND the dealership.

Attractive but not too durable

Until recent vehicle malfunction, I was satisfied with the looks and performance of the Tucson. However, at less that 3000 miles, all of the warning lights on the instrument panel lit up with various warnings. Took the vehicle to dealership for analysis and repair. Car has been there 2 weeks and they still can't tell me when I can expect its repair and return. They have not offered me a loaner vehicle during that timeframe (claim none were available) (Sidebar: just today I was informed I may get one tomorrow).

It's OK

The Tucson is OK, overall. During an illness, I have gained some weight and now this car is not as comfortable as when I bought it. The media player has never worked right and when I dropped it off for an oil change, they never have time to look at it. Hyundai repair advisors are not nice to work with.

Service department doesn’t know the problem

Safety issues still outstanding. Are they ever going to be fixed?? In addition, Service typically doesn’t return voicemails when trying to make an appointment. Therefore, for non-covered maintenance I would probably go somewhere else.
