So disappointed in this vehicle

I have experience more issues with this new car than I have with my past 4 new vehicles combined. When I had to get the rotors replaced at 7,000 miles, I knew I made a mistake. This vehicle does not come close to the quality of a Honda or Nissan. I strongly regret getting it.

Overall vehicle is nice with good options.

Vehicle is nice with plenty of options. Downside is we had to take vehicle in for unscheduled maintenance within a month of purchase with only 1365 miles. We only hope this is not a sign of things to come.

Not completely satisfied

Fuel consumption is bad, pick up is okay. Comfort of the vehicle is good and I like the exterior of the vehicle. With the news of kias and hyundIs getting stolen I am not feeling confident about the reliability of the brand

Brand new car and Air Conditioner doesn't work.

Nice car, bought brand new. Found out after a month Air conditioner doesn't work. I have to wait 3 weeks to have it checked at dealer. Having 2nd thoughts about my purchase. Owners manual has way too much information about car that is not pertinent to our specific model.

Its a good car but not the best

Granted I have had this car for a little less then a month, It honestly hasn't been my favorite car I have ever had. At the end of the day I got it because they had incentivized rates on it and that's is Hella hard to find right now.

Liked the dealership, very attentive and friendly

My main dissatisfaction is with all the display features and multiple screens and menu and mode choices. Is very difficult to learn and change options when you are driving. Seems I can never get the actual items I want on the same screen at the same time. Have to look down to see what you are doing and not labeled. Can’t tell from the display screen whether a feature is actually on or not. Storage in glove box and center console is very limited compared to other models and makes of comparable size. Had to buy container to go between seats and I don’t have a lot. Think they have tried to do too much and too many features and didn’t go well.

Nice features, poor performance

I have a problem with vehicle acceleration. Also if you have two phone set up to use Android Auto, it is a big deal to switch the phones, not an easy task. I bought this vehicle comparing to CRV but it seems it has much less room.

2023 Hyundai Tucson average value for the price. So many computer features which requires a software degree to figure out the phone app, Bluetooth features. Not an intuitive display or CarPlay interface. Good luck!

Complicated, lots of emails sent to you to “teach you” how to use the features of the car. Two or three different apps to “take advantage of” for maintenance records, remote start, lock, unlock the car. It is a process to learn all of the various features before you can feel like you have earned your degree to drive the car. CarPlay is not as intuitive as other cars. Other than the complicated emails and applications, car rides smooth, engine is quiet. Interior has shiny materials that reflect in your eyes. Be aware. Good luck

Beware

The vehicle is ok, the dealership experience after purchasing the vehicle is another story. Let's just say I'll probably be taking my vehicle to another dealer to be serviced. It's nothing like being told that work was done on your vehicle only to find out that it really wasn't.

Underwhelming Lerformance. Climate control issues

I bought the car brand new. Within 2000 miles the AC started intermittently shutting down. They worked on. It stopped within 600 miles of Hyundai fixing it. Bose speakers are useless. Super low when connecting via Bluetooth and not that great when connecting through USB.

Sucks on fuel

The technology is very well thought out in this vehicle. Gas mileage wasn't very well thought out. I can't afford to keep a full tank of gas. I have to fuel up quite often now and I'm not happy about it.

As I mentioned in the survey, the epoxy used inside the engine compartment (right underneath the window on both side) looks sloopy and unprofessional.

I had excellent service from the salesperson, he is knowledgeable and was not pushy, despite the news about the recall of the 2023 Tuscan electronic controller in the oil pumps (I have not officially received the recall notice). This is my third Hyundai, reliability is the number one concern, I hope I will not see melting components one day when I retrieved the car from the parking lot from work.

Good vehicle. Interior build quality is suspicious.

Good engine to drive and get good MPG for how responsive it feels. Plenty of space. Trunk is massive and rear passengers will be very comfortable. Interior build quality is suspicious. Roof rattles from first week out. Extremely annoying (somewhat embarassing when I have passengers) and no idea how to fix it. Purchased brand new

check gas mileage not achieved based on window sticker display. my main reason for purchasing the hybrid was the gas mileage. price point for the hybrid is a rip off based on the going green marketing

It's Okay

Overall, the car runs good does the basic of a car, but in this age we look for the extra features and that's where the car started to fail me. Randomly the sound goes out, the alert system alerts when there's nothing there but it usually alerts if something is there. For sound it was out for about half the time I have had the video which is upsetting.

So so….

I think its Ok but the gas mileage is horrible to me compared to my 2018 Sonata I just replaced it with- But I’m sure its cause its an SUV but its still bad — I love the front grill and they engine noise when it shuts off automatically at the light is loud and annoying

Nice riding mid size SUV. Good views and nice interior. Lots of wind noise :(

Comfortable midsize SUV. Nice smooth ride, except for the road noise and wind noise. The seats are comfortable, much more than the Toyota or Chevy. If you're a big person, I would get a larger SUV though. Not a lot of room getting in and out. Good gas mileage.

Tucson looks nice gas milage and AC not great

The Tucson is attractive and spacious but the gas mileage and AC sucks. I took it in to have AC and gas milage checked. I asked what AC standard coolness should be and I couldn't get an answer. They brought in another new Tucson and compared the AC to mine and it was the same. So apparently the AC on all the new Tusons is below industry standard. I was really disappointed that they could not make any adjustments to approve the AC or gas mileage.
