Great value and tech, but let down by prep and software bugs
The 2026 Tucson XRT is a robust and stylish vehicle that offers excellent value for the money in its segment. Mechanically, it feels solid, and the sporty-yet-conservative design is exactly what I was looking for. The dealership experience was positive, and the warranty provides great peace of mind.
However, the experience has been hampered by two main issues. First, the car was delivered with widespread surface scratches due to improper polishing and prep work—most notably on the front driver-side hood. Second, I’ve encountered frequent phone connectivity drops that required manual protocol adjustments to stabilize. I would love to see more frequent OTA updates to fix these bugs, add more cluster designs, and allow for better ambient light and drive mode customization.
