Great vehicle

Great ride with amazing MPG, a few minor things that I wish could be fixed like the Bluetooth doesn't always sync up and the multimedia touchscreen doesn't always respond and is always set to 8:00, but other than that the car is great! I've taken multiple car rides 15 and half hours plus and haven't had a problem. I also get a lot of compliments on the body style. Overall I love my car but I'm gonna need to buy the turbo next time.

A well thought out and put together vehicle.

This car has been quite reliable and easy to maintain. It handles very well and gets excellent fuel mileage. It looks faster than it really is but it is plenty capable. It does excellent in the snow and ice and I have not gotten it stuck once in 4 years of northwest ohio winters. It has more features and performance than vehicles that cost far more. It's styling isn't for everyone but it still turns heads everywhere I go. This car is very flexible with the 3rd door and hatchback. I haul my son and most of his stuff no problem.

MY 2012 Velostor

Purchased in May 2012 and it gets great gas mileage. I have put 170,000 miles on it and it runs like a charm!!!

Love love love!!

Love my Veloster. It still gets a lot of attention. Great sound system and nice pick up. Good on ⛽. But I do urge future Veloster owners to insure the tires. The sales people will explain further as to why. Overall, nice nice ride!

Sporty capable commuter

Quick response automatic with paddle shifters makes this gem a go. It can bring home the bacon in the roomy hatchback along with 4 passengers seated comfortably. Gas economy can get up to 40 mpg. After market parts are becoming more available. Options are good but it takes a while to defrost and heat up in 32 degree weather. Wheels and tires should be more durable as several flats have occured in 3 years of ownership. Yes, Hyundai does provide road service, but plan on losing your car for a fews days.

Economic sporty car

My car is standard so my experience will be differnet but i love this car and is the 2012 model. It is the eaiest car to learn standard and it is great on fuel. It has a sporty feel but it is a economic car first so keep that in mind. You want a sport car this is not it. It is reliable and dependable car except the snow will be a pain to drive in.

Great car. Very versatile

I bought my Veloster in October 2011. I have enjoyed every day with it. The gas mileage is excellent and the smaller size makes it very easy to navigate in large metropolitan areas. The engine is not sporty, but I can cruise at 80mph and it doesn't make a single fuss about it.

My 2012 Veloster

I have had this car for nearly six (6) years now, I have had very few issues with it. The main problem with this car is the LAG at initial acceleration, this has been an issue with this car since purchase, I had the same issue with my 2010 accent with the same 1.6 engine in it, It is a factor with this motor. Other than that and the fact that this car sucks in the snow, I am mostly satisfied with the car. It can be very fun to drive.

Neat little commuter

Bought my Veloster with about 9500 miles on it. I was commuting 45+ each way to work by myself in the car about 95% of the time. Air and heat work very well. Nice XM radio. Bluetooth telephone calls come through clear, however the mic picks up too much wind noise above about 45 mph, making it unusable. Not the most sure footed car in winter as it is too light to provide much traction, but works ok for me. Great mpg, offset with the lack of raw power. But for a cool little commuter, it serves me well.

Just what I wanted

I bought the Velestor because of the good gas mileage( although there was a class actin suit because it didn’t get the advertised mileage and I have not received any more information about it. The settlement was appealed was all I heard. That was a few years ago.) loved the extended warranty that I purchased when I bought the car.
