Cute and sporty

Very sporty and cute, if i had a smaller family or younger kids we would fit fine, everyone loved the sporty, instyle look.... And i saved tons on gas! It would be a great fit for singles!

Perks of owning a Veloster

Love this car! My Turbo makes Pearl (named my car) zippy with so much get-up-and-go! It was VERY claustrophobic w/o having a sunroof, backup camera (difficult to see out of the hatchback) so I ended up trading in my first Veloster* for another w/Turbo and added features of the Ultimate Package (sunroof, backup warning sensors, auto headlights, navigation system w/rearview camera and 115V outlet) and this made all the difference in the world! Paddles are fun! Do wish the Veloster would have come with electric moving seats. I live in Hawaii so I was really disappointed that SIRIUSXM radio was not available here. Also, wish the seats were AC controlled. Heated seats are not necessary here but it was great while I lived in CA. The tire pressure monitoring system is cool. I get compliments on my Veloster Turbo all the time!!! **I'm still extremely disgruntled with the Dublin Hyundai dealership where I bought my first Veloster. They told me there was no other Veloster available w/the features I wanted so unfortunately for me, I bought the one they had. Then I happened to stop in the San Leandro Hyundai Dealership and just inquired about a Veloster with features I wanted and they found it about 200 miles away! We made a deal (although I lost a lot of money) and they traveled some 200 miles away to pick up the Veloster I wanted to begin with. The sad thing was that this Veloster was available the whole time.

Gas mileage is higher than published. Even with the air conditioning going the worst mpg has been over 38 mpg

My Veloster

Great little car with pep. I love the body style but have had to repair rims more than once due to blind spots. The fuel clutch is not necessary on the base model. The blue tooth will only sync with IPhone.

The little car that CAN!

I often forget that this little sporty vehicle is only a 4 cylinder. It powers quite well for a 4 cylinder! It drags/delays when trying to quickly go from idling to "gun it" for city driving, but that's where I forget it's a 4 cylinder. It maneuvers as if it's an appendage of mine. I love the sporty look, and the sedan status for insurance. The 3 door is the most practical style for me. It sits low to the ground, as it should, but I often have to have the plastic bumper clips replaced. It would be more helpful and cost effective to have the bumpers attached with something more durable. The specific vehicle I have (2013 racer model) was abused and used for speed by its previous drivers. I may never have the alignment completely on target (tried several times). Even with this history, this vehicle gives it's all! It remains easy to handle and steer. Aesthetically, I like that the rear seats fold down for transport; I love the sun/moon roof; the interior; the automated display screen, hands free communication, bluetooth, and the rear hatch with window wiper! I do wish the windows were tinted. It gets hot in Oklahoma during summer. This vehicle definitely qualifies as one of, if not THE favorite I have owned (owned cars since 1995)!

Serious bang for your buck! Veloster Turbo

In an industry so full of same-ness, it's refreshing to see something truly unique. First let me say, this is no GTr, 370z,s2000,or any of the others in that true sports car range. Nor is it a posser! What you have here is a fun, practical and tech filled car. The engine for the VT(Veloster Turbo, in case you're not hip!) is 201hp of 4 cylinder turbocharged fun, throwing down to the ground 195ft lbs of torque... That's more than enough "zip" to get you around town. Loads of fun on the "twisties". Lots of space inside.. well for the front passengers, but I'm 6'3" 230lbs and I fit in the back seat(I would doubt I'd last very long on a long road trip back there!). Storage space is great, for larger items you can drop the back seats(make sure you remove any passengers first!). The tech works seamlessly, a variety of ways to listen to your tunes, be it: mp3, CD, Sirius XM, and of course the tried and tested AM/FM radio. I am totally enjoying my time with my auto! Then there's the body style, I happened to enjoy those lines and find it stands out against more expensive auto's.

Over all I like this car. It provides me with exactly what I was looking.for. A car to get me to and from work. Have ample.room for groceries and errands. It's fun to drive and looks great. The only thing is the car dose seem to build up carbon as seen on the exhaust tips. After two years the tips will not clean up, they are stained black.

More fun than I ever expected

My 2013 Veloster Turbo in Vitamin C has been a real treat since the day I drove it home. It is now going on over 3 years, still looks & feels like new. Maintenance has been minimal and MPG is great. The design is very stylish and I like the way it handles in all situations, Besides having the entire premium package with the 6-speed stick, the only improvement to shifting was by the installation of the B&M Shifter from the Hyundai parts catalog - well worth the price. And the idea of a twin-scroll Turbo in a car of this price is amazing. It is absolutely smooth transitioning and there has never been a loss of power - using a/c or not. This is as close as I have ever come to having a real "dream car". I love my yearly road-trip of at least 2500 miles on the highway between Florida and Illinois each year, it is a really great road-car, having a comfortable and secure feel at all times.

It's a nice car and easy on gas once the clunk noise from the axle shims was fixed and the bad speakers were replaced the car has been good so far

Great car for tall people.

Great visibility. Comfortable seating. Plenty of head and knee room for tall people. Creative styling (1 door on driver side, 2 doors on passenger side ) . Very sporty car at an affordable price.

The CRX SI of the 2010's

I have the 2013 Veloster Turbo with auto/trans in Ironman silver. I use this as a daily commuter and drop my 3 year old off at daycare daily. The 3rd passenger door is VERY useful and the back seat surprisingly accommodating. Well appointed with features and tech for its price point.
