Veloster econobox with some kick...

It's okay and gets the job done for commuting, but it's not very comfortable and the manual trans could have stood some more work refining. Overall it's not bad for what it is.

Hyundai Veloster Turbo Year 1

I think this is a great little Hatchback and I have recommended this car to others. There are a couple of things I would like to see upgraded on future models, and those items are. A more powerful 3rd engine option to put it more at parody with the GTI and Focus RS. Adjustable ride control option. Higher end stereo options. With that said, dollar for dollar the Veloster Turbo is a great value. I would love to see a version that could get 0 - 60 closer to 5 seconds.

Driving around town is fun again!

This is a fun little car. It isn't the most comfortable for long road trips, but for typical daily driving it would be hard to beat. The turbo gives it enough pep, that when I want to take off quick, I can. If you are going to get a Veloster, I highly recommend that you shell out the extra money and get the turbo. I, and most people I have met, find the base model automatic too sluggish to drive. The base manual is bearable, but the extra fit the turbo is worth it. Although, one area where the Veloster shines is in the curves. Both the Base & Turbo models handle curvy roads like a dream.

2016 Hyundai Veloster

I absolutely LOVE my new vehicle. At first I wasn't quite sure about a small car and the horsepower (or lack thereof), but I was completely surprised by the "get up and go", plus the handling of the Veloster. I love to drive my vehicle and its very comfortable on long drives. This car handles exceptionally well, is very sporty, and has tons of storage space for a small vehicle. I get superior gas mileage ranging between 35-42 mpg on the highway and I travel 80 miles to work 1-way. This car is so much more than I ever expected and would own another in a heartbeat.

My Sporty Veloster

I really like my Veloster because it is sporty, bright orange and turbo. The service I received from the sales department was great! Whenever I come by they still greet me as if I was a friend or about to buy another car. The guys, Brandon and Clifton, although I gave them a hard time they were very professional about everything. Make it your own!

The Veloster is the most fun car I have driven in a long time. I like to make things my own and different from everyone else's. Stock the Veloster is fun, with upgrades it's fungastic. ;) I've lowered mine tinted windows, break lights, third break light, mirror signals, front markers, fog lights, and rear reflectors. Added led bulbs to the turn signals, and place RGB LEDs in the fog light location. Installed a third break light strobe module to get attention when breaking.the sound system is amazing for a stock system. I highly recommend this car for a fun driver and different looking from the normal cars on the market.

Love my Little Blue!

I purchased this car in a time of need and never had thought I would purchase something brand new but I am so glad I did! I had done my research, a few test drives, and when I slid into the Rally Edition 5speed Veloster I knew that was the car for me! The bucket seats hug you while you are turning corners at fast speeds "to merge onto the highway"! I need that pick up and the Veloster gives it to you and more! It is pretty smooth! The sleek exterior is great I love dropping off my kids at school and the lane attendant cannot figure out where the third door is, that is a perk! The space is amazing, my mate that is 6"3' can fit in the passenger seat comfortable, while my kids are in the backseat. Not only can large men fit inside, I have stuffed that car full of boxes that most of my co worker said would never fit and Little Blue proved them wrong! I also love the color hence the name little blue she is my little NY Giants fan car! I saw the blue and was like sweet and then I opened the door and was blown away with the red leather/upholstery interior, it is HOT! The gas mileage is pretty good! Overall, I love this car and want to keep it for a very long time!

If only it performed as well as it looks

The Veloster is a pretty good sporty looking car. The tech in the car is great, It's fun to drive, gets pretty good mileage and looks more expensive then it was. The only down side is the "get up and go" I've never owned a 4 cyl car before but the car just doesn't have the pep and punch of other sporty models. My wife's Mazda CX5 suv has better "off the starting line" performance. Maybe the turbo model is better then mine but I've heard they lag at takeoff too.
