Car fits me and my needs just fine.

I am under 4'9" and had a difficult time finding a car that not only fit me to drive safely and comfortably, but was almost as roomy as an SUV, for an affordable price. The Hyundai Venue fit that description. It also had the bells and whistles of the lane assist and blue tooth and the usage of my iphone in the car. This Crossover is perfect for me. Had to get accustomed to the lane assist feature. But because of the pandemic, I haven't driven my new car very far. Looking forward to taking a further trip when the pandemic eases up. Perhaps very soon!

I LOVE my Venue!

Cutest car ever! Performs well and love the tech. Just what I wanted. It’s fun to drive and I couldn’t be happier. I’ve had it a year, and so far, it has exceeded my expectations. Can’t say enough good things about it. I got the denim edition and it’s so cute!

A great alternative to the KIA Soul

After purchasing 2 Hyundai, 2008 and 2013 I became a fan of their reliability and economical driving. My fiancee has bought 2 Hyundai as well and feels the same way. My brother has a 2006 Hyundai he still drives with over 100,000 miles on it and he has no desire to trade it in yet. During the pandemic in 2020 I received offers as a preferred customer to take advantage of special limited time incentives. I wanted to buy the parent company's Soul model however, I saw where Hyundai introduced the Venue, I found it be a better choice for me. I like the appearance outside and inside to be superior and now after 1 year of ownership, I feel I made the right choice for me to have purchased a Venue and not a Soul. I rate it 99 out of 100, my only reason for not giving it 100 is that the Venue doesn't have a lever inside the cabin to open the hatchback door forcing one to get out of the car to open the hatchback. Other than that I am a very happy Venue driver

I love my new Venue.It drives very well. I love the color, white. It gets great gas mileage. I was treated very well at the dealership. I got a very good price on it too. It is just the right size Suv for me.

Love my Venue

I fell in love with this car when it first came out. Its very easy to get in and out of it and pretty roomy for what you get. It seems very well built with just one glitch i have with the infotainment screen that is getting repaired. Overall i am happy with my vehicle

I feel it is unfair for me to review this vehicle. Unfortunately my venue was a lemon. I was given a replacement venue yesterday and will reserve my opinion until I have adequate experience with this one.

nice car but trunk problems

I like my venue; I have a disability and use a spinner knob...and drive around the local area.it is a fine car, but instructions are a limited complicated for us baby boomers/like the blue color which makes my car easy to find in shopping center. Performance is ok for my needs

Vehicle upgrades need

wind will push vehicle to much. Interior road noise. Struts make noise. horse power is insufficient for city driving. Wind pushes the vehicle on high way. Long trips bit uncomfortable.cabin noise is excessive

My venue

The car was a replacement vehicle for a car that I stopped driving to restore. It has great fuel economy and has sufficient room for my wife and I. We primarily use this car around town and on short drives of less than 2 hours.

The vehicle wasn't what I expected. The lane assist keeps putting adjusting when I'm driving within the lines. I'm constantly struggling to control my vehicle. The hatchback is hard to open. The latch is difficult to press.

Excellent vehicle. Only 2 concerns. Engine is too “buzzy”. And it takes too long to reach operating temperature in cold climates. Took to the dealer to 8nspect and they stated that this is normal operation.

Venue Review

The Venue is a great small car. It is surprisingly roomy and comfortable. It is easy and very fun to drive. It is peppy and responsive and handles the Colorado mountains with ease. It is easy to get into and out of, which is a big plus for those of us with knee or hip issues. My significant other is so impressed with my Venue that he bought one too!

Great vehicle!

This vehicle would be great for a city with no snow. It has a sport mode which makes getting around town fun! This car did not handle well in the snow, even in the snow mode. I do wish the denim edition came with a sun/moon roof and tinted windows.

quality has declined since I bought my 2002 Hyundai Accent. Should be improving the quality of the vehicles not making them worse. Have been online looking for a 2012 to a 2015 accent for my main car and keep this one for a backup car.ihate even getting in this bucking bronco. I just passed 6000 miles

Car is Great; Dealership Service, Not So Much

I have been trying to schedule a service appointment for about a month now. When I finally got in, I was told that I would have to wait two hours. When I told them I had an appointment, I was told "everyone has an appointment". Not only that, but I had made a previous appointment based on an email received from the dealership indicating that my vehicle was due for service. When I went brought the vehicle in, I was told there was no need to service the vehicle (had not reached required mileage; purchased the car March 7, 2020). I was subsequently told to bring the car in after it's first year anniversary, which I did and which brings us to the present woeful situation. Extremely frustrated and will NOT consider Universal Hyundai going forward, nor will I recommend them.

They got the job done quickly and the service manager was very respectful of my concerns. provides great fuel economy, is very easy to drive around town. great for getting in and out of tight parking spaces.
