Don’t buy

Don’t buy unless you are taking this bomb off my hands. Save yourself the headache and run! It is a sloppy drive that maybe kids would think is fun, but they could never afford the repairs. Wounded warriors will be happy though- another donation!!

Crap don't buy

This is the biggest lemon I've ever had. Everything breaks and parts are expensive and its not even a 4x4 I've had to replace the Cadillac converter, radiator, transmission, transfer case and so much more its a pos to put it nicely

Not so much

The Jeep has just a few to many problems, I do not think I would recommend it to anyone. It is an auto mechanics dream, he can always make money. It needs help a lot of the time. So I think anyone who is reading this should by something else, unless you want to buy this one, than thats ok.

Used mistake

I purchased this vehicle used with 140k. I had to spend 2700 just to get it road worthy. I am taking it back to the shop because it stalls and runs rough. It drives rough and the drivetrain is clunky. I will never buy another one.

Love this vehicle!

I love my Jeep! I never thought I would want a Jeep but now that I have one, I just love it! It’s just the right size for me. It sits up off the road which I like. I love the four wheel drive especially during these winter storms and it just zooms around everywhere I want to go. I love it!

Reliable, uncomplicated and capable.

In 15 years of service the car has a very reliable service record. With selectable 4WD it's good for our seasonal weather. Has knobs and levers, not a "touch screen" so I know they will function when needed.

I love Old Betsy...

Old Betsy has had her moments. I bought her used 11 years ago...have had some mechanical work done...but overall my Jeep Liberty rides nicely. Great in winter driving. Not too great on gas mileage....

'05 Renegade Loaded

Bought my Jeep in late 2019. Had 150K on it. I'd never owned a 4WD. Truck runs great. Not very good with MPG's, but I really like its smooth ride, sitting up off the road, and has great visibility. I've used Part time 4-wheel in some bad snow, ice conditions, uphills and down ... Back roads ... Fishing and canoeing ... It's my Survival Machine. I'd like to buy new but with this Jeep, I'll run it long as I can ... No car payments.

My first Jeep

I'd always wanted a Jeep ever since my uncle had a gas station in our hometown. It was a fifties Willys barebones utility type. Stick shift. Clutch. Manual steering and brakes. It was a real jeep. A "General Purpose" (GP), jeep as it was known. So life happens and i ended buying my in-laws 2005 liberty renegade. Quad lamps on top with luggage rails that hold my canoe snug tight. Maybe a surf ? board for next summer. Anyway i love my Jeep. I always keep tow cables and tools as well as spare gas cans and oil and coolant and windshield wash. It's a survival machine i can load for camping fishing hunting and four wheel terrains. Yeah. Love my Jeep.

05 Jeep Liberty

The 2005 was purchase new....and is still going with over 165,000 miles on it. Very little trouble; only routine maintenance. LOVE my Liberty!

RELIABLE AND SO FUN TO DRIVE!

I BOUGHT MY JEEP LIBERTY AS NEW 'USED' IN 2005. IT WAS A 2004, WITH 27 MILES ON IT. MY CAR IS ALMOST 12 YEARS OLD, AND STILL RUNS LIKE NEW. I WANTED AN SUV, BUT IN A SMALLER SIZE, FOR BETTER GAS MILEAGE. IT HAS A 6.7 LETER ENGINE, WITH 4-WHEEL DRIVE, SO IT DRIVES LIKE A MORE POWERFUL VEHICLE, BUT I GET GREAT MILEAGE! MY JEEP LIBERTY HAS SO MUCH CARGO ROOM IN THE BACK, AND IF I NEED MORE, I JUST EASILY FOLD DOWN THE BACK SEATS, AND I'M GOOD TO GO. MY JEEP NOT ONLY RUNS LIKE NEW, BUT LOOKS JUST AS GOOD AS WHEN I DROVE IT OUT OF THE DEALER'S LOT, THE DAY I BOUGHT IT. MY JEEP IS FIRE ENGINE RED, AND I NAMED HER 'SAUCY', BECAUSE SHE IS, JUST LIKE I FEEL WHEN I DRIVE HER!

Jeep Liberty

Liberty is the right name for this jeep. It gives me complete freedom, regardless of the weather or the terrain. It is the most reliable and dependable car I have ever owned in my 57 years of driving.

Jeep Liberty 2005 - the car of my life!

This is by far my favorite car I've ever had. I have had next to no repairs on it in the 11 years I've had it. I was willing to consider replacing it with a newer model, as experts recommend when your cars get old like mine, but as hard as I tried, I couldn't find one that has cute-as-a-button design, all the features I want like ABS breaks, and cloth seats. Yes, you read that right. I REALLY don't like leather, I've had leather twice and I never did get to be friends with it. BUT I MUST have a sunroof and do you know how hard it is to find a car - any car - with cloth seats and a sunroof? They are always in different feature packages. If one upgrades to a sunroof, it is always assumed they also want premium seating - leather - but no thanks. I don't know how I managed to get this combination in the first place, but it seems I may never find it again. And not only did the Liberty design get more boxy after my model (which I don't care for), the Liberty went off the grid entirely for a few years; when it came back, sorry, it's a totally different car. So - reintroduce a Liberty with rounded corners and offer it with cloth and sunroof - and I may just have to part with my old friend. Until then - I'm going to hang tightly onto it.

Jeep Liberty - Great Car

I have owned my Jeep since 2005 and it has been a pleasure. Mechanically, the car has been superb. Nothing major in repair costs and the body of the Jeep still looks brand new. No chips on the paint. Wished they still sold this car as I would definitely buy another one.
