Run away! Great payment huge back end cost of ownership

If you are leasing and turning in after lease expires great. But there is a huge cost of ownership that would never be revealed to you. Electrical problems, premature rusting of suspension and sub frames front and rear. The suspension components, tie rod ends, wheel bearings, tie rod ends are constantly blowing out and require replacement. Michigan has bad roads so that doesn't help. The frequency of these failures seems higher that what should be normal. If you buy, get extended warranty. Thank you Chrysler For putting out junk.

Love my Patriot

Best vehicle I've ever owned. I bought it new in 2007 and have had very little maintenance issues. I am sorry to know they aren't making them any longer at this point.

I would buy it again

After sixteen years and 280.000 miles, I would say I'm beginning to like the vehicle. One item that could use attention would be the electric window controls. I have had to replace three of them. Otherwise, it continues to get 25 mpg, so I just might keep it for a while.
