Stinger review

Best car I’ve ever owned! Drove Subarus for 30 years. All weather driving machine for ski trips throughout the West. Toyotas and BMW before that. Perfect choice after I had to quit skiing. AWD, leg room, lift back( few sport sedans have), great style and power to play with!

Stinger’s first road trip.

I had read that the Stinger was designed for road trips. It proved itself well! Tank mileage between 22 and 32 with an average of 26.5 over 5600 miles. We hit a lot of weather including horizontal snow(roads only wet) and wind. The AWD Stinger was smooth and fun all the way. I regretted not using Sport mode east bound from Seattle(comfort performed well), but I didn’t neglect us on the way home!

This is a Kia?!

I think my wife and I will be hearing that a lot! Our 1st Kia, and are very happy with our new Stinger. The only gripe I have so far is the lack of options for the range. We'd love ventilated seats, and this option can be found on their more mainstream models such as the Soul or Optima. But to get ventilated seats in a Stinger, you have to go from $33k to $52k. Seriously, Kia? Aside from that we love this car's combination of good looks, driving dynamics, and practicality. The hatch cargo area is very generous. We look forward to many miles and smiles behind the wheel. Oh yeah, they also have a great warranty and their reliability ratings are outstanding. Win/ win!
