Best car I have ever owned or driven.

If you needs can be satisfied with a 2-seater (back seat is not functional for riders) convertible, this is the best car possible. Have a 2004 like pictured with 136k miles, and my next car will be another Lexus SC430 with fewer miles. The only negative is that you can't plug your iPhone/iPad or whatever into the radio to play your music. Love this car. A classic.

A real hard top convertible

I have owned the vehicle for 6 years . A unique and fun vehicle to drive , although not a true sports car . The Lexus IS more of a luxury sports model . The SC 430 drives, rides and handles as one would expect from a Lexus . The “flip top” has always worked perfectly with no leaks . The most noticeable thing is how quite this vehicle is with NO squeaks or rattles after 16 years !

I love my SC 430!

I just got a divorce and in the divorce we had four cars. Because of the amount of money involved and trying to make everything come out as we had agreed, I had to pick one of four cars to keep. One of the cars was a brand new range rover; the second car was a 2015 jeep; the third car was a 1967 GTO in pristine shape; and last but not least was a 2004 Lexus SC 430. Out of the cars I took the Lexus.

Love the car.

for around $65k and came with very option available at that time. Have had mine and is a joy to drive top up or down. Back seat is for storage and insurance costs, not for people with legs. Good trunk space with top up, grocery-ample when top down, which is 90% of my use. Speedy V8, not not a race car. Have had mostly normal maintenance since purchase. Dealer service is somewhat costly, but getting free new car loaner is very nice. I often get asked about my car by people when shopping. My golden when we ride, so see lots of smiling bystanders. Now have 180k miles, so looking for possible same car replacement. Will see.

20 years old and runs like new

I would recommend this car to anyone. Mine is 20 years old and with regular maintenance it is running like new. So much so I bought a RC 350 type F and that is also a wonderful auto. Applause to Toyota and Lexus.

a wonderful car to drive, with top up or down, very dependable the last 8 plus years we've owned it. Just plain fun and comfortable.
