Excellent Automobile

This car has fulfilled expectations in every way. The third row of seats accommodates three children or two adults and is quite comfortable as long as the neck rests are in position. Having the neck rests up does obstruct vision a little in the rear view mirror, but that is a reasonable tradeoff when needing to travel with a full load of passengers.

Of all the vehicles I have owned over the years, This has been my favorite. The only thing that could make it better would be If I had a GPS system.

Perfect car for my family

The Mazda5 is spunky, responsive, full of nice bells and whistles, drives wonderfully, and best of all, has enough room to seat six without any crowding or sacrificing comfort like most cars that only seat 5 (try being a bigger person stuck in the back middle seat of a sedan with two other equally big people on both sides, it sucks). The only downside is day time running lights do not come standard on it, but there are after market lights that can be added to the car.

Still in love after 5 years

When I bought my Mazda 5 back in 2013, I was looking for something to fit my family of 4, which sometimes had guests riding along, had lots of space for hauling large items, and still was fuel efficient. This little Mazda has really stood up to those tough requirements! I love that I can have a comfortable 4-seater most of the time, with plenty of room for sports gear, lawn chairs, or groceries. I love that I can easily carry 5 passengers when needed. I love that I can fold down all those back seats and carry home my entire load from Ikea or Lowe's with the tailgate safely closed! I love only stopping for gas every two weeks. Best of all, I love the cool styling, that makes me not feel like I'm driving a "soccer mom" car (even if I technically am a soccer mom!)

Runs like a rabbit!

Great car, with 104,000 miles. I do my own maintenance and always use synthetic oil. The Mazda special transmission fluid is a pain to get and must have gold flakes in the fluid to justify the high price.

Mazda 5 Sport is a perfect car for personal and family ownership, very good, a beautiful, luxurious, economical, fun, easy to drive, and comfortable to travel car. Really a worthy car, but with confidence, durability and quality. Don't be confused. Just choose Mazda at the top of the choice

Love it!

The only reason it gets 4 stars instead of 5 is the driver's window. It sticks. I had a Mazda Tribute. The driver's window stuck also. It has to be something about Mazda.

Have been pleased with my Mazda

This was the first car I have purchased on my own. My husband approved it, but he died shortly after I bought it. It has been a good car. However, I feel that it has a blind spot on the right side . When I look over my shoulder, the rear window, the head rest on the passenger side next to me seems to block my vision and it's difficult to see a car if it's coming.
