Still my DREAM Car

Shortly after the wedding, my husband purchased my CLK430 from the original owner with less than 25k miles. It still had the new-car-smell! I drove it for just over 2-years before suffering a Traumatic Brain/Spinal Cord injury. It remained in garage, un-driven, for 4-years before adapted hand-controls were installed. At the next checkpoint the oil was clear, no flat-spots on original wheels and it operated as if it were being driven off of showroom floor. The only repairs needed were side mirror motor and convertible hydrolic hoses.

'02 CLK430

Wife's car, only has 28,000 miles on it. Love, living in FL, and rarely do we put up the top. Offered to buy her a new car when we moved to FL, and she said no. Bought car in 2004 with only 2300 miles on the odometer.

still runs like new,and its 18 years old,only has 65000 on it,just fun to drive, and still recieve many compliments wich makes me feel good,just love the car and cannot see myself driving anything else

Driving a CKL55AMG

2002 CLK55 AMG Unbelievable car. Purchased in 2009 with 1,900 miles now has 216,700. The last set of Michele tires Pilot Sport 3's went 35,000 miles with no rotation. New set of P/S 4 are so much better than the 3"s Mechanical has had normal repairs. No reason to obtain another car.

Best car I have ever owned

This has been an exceptional car and I can’t say enough great things about it. It was expensive to purchase but has been worth every penny from the beautiful interior to the awesome exterior design. It was designed to ride low in front so I had trouble getting stuck on low curbs! Driver or design ????

My 2002 CLK

I've owe this car since 2003. Purchased as a resale from the dealer. Only 9,000 miles on it. the first lady owner turned it in because she did not "like" the size and wanted a bigger car. I got a full factory warranty plus 3 years more. I love the size of the car. Great power when you need it. The car hs turned 103,000 miles. The car LOVES to travel at 80 MPH - and seems to enjoy the highways. For the interior, it is bigger than a SL. More truck space too. Again, it fits my needs fine. The top is easy to put down & up. And all these years and no rattle yet from the convertible top, which is great. My cousin's Mustang top rattles something bad, and it's only 6 yrs old. Again, for me, I love the size, power when needed, the sure footed drive of this car.

Not reliable.

Between myself and the previous owner (a good friend who took immaculate care of it), this car had more than its fair share of issues. Alternator went out, blew and idler pully, ball joints replaced, leaky valve cover gasket, passenger seat no longer moves, top stopped working, dash vents became inoperable, it's on it's fourth set of tires, and on and on. It has stranded my wife twice. And, all with under 65K miles.
