'01 Mitsubishi Diamante LS
Owned this car about 11 years. Has been a very nice running and riding car. "Diamante" means "diamond" in Japanese. This series was the "Flagship" series for Mitsubishi in the 90's through the early to mid 2000's. Loaded w/every option available at that time. Highest H.P. in it's class in 2001. A comment by one of the major car magazines was ..."That if you wanted a car that rides like a Buick, but with the dependability the Japanese are noted for...this was your car!" When buying this as a used car, I found it had more to offer in power, comfort, standard equipment and design than any of it's competition and at a cost much lower than the other big 3 Japanese builders. Too bad Mitsubishi dropped the model after 2004!!!
