I love my car

I love my car, even as she has become older, I love my car. I wish that I could keep her on the road forever. I get compliments all the time on my car. I would buy another one, trade this one in, if a newer version came out.

Love it!

I purchased my Eclipse in 1997 from the Don Davis dealership in Fort Worth, Texas. It was love at first sight! I’ve kept it beautiful all these years, and will keep on doing so. I hope it is the last car I will ever have!

Well over 200K miles with minimum repairs to engine, drive train, etc.

Like any 25 year-old vehicle, wear and tear eventually require ordinary maintenance and replacement/repair of interior and exterior accessories, but parts have been reasonably cheap and easy to acquire (even a replacement for a convertible top). It's a pleasure to drive and I wouldn't trade it for 99% of what I see on the road today!

26 years and 150k miles later, still loving it

2.4L engine + low curb weight = a fast ride, fun styling, Japanese quality (the engine is still going strong), the joy of its tight 5-speed manual . . . what's not to like? The other day a young woman staffing a drive-through window said, as I was putting it in gear to drive away, "I love your car!" So do I.
