Great Service! See "Doc" Whitmore!

great car! Smooth ride, and super great on gas Milage with it being a hybrid. This car has never once broken down on me! Nissan makes great cars this being one of the best.

Nissan Altima

I have not had many problems for the amount of time I had the car. It is very well built and reliable. The things I needed fixed wasn’t that major. I did keep a tune up and regular maintenance on the vehicle.

Love My Nissan.

Simply love my Nissan Altima and having My Mechanic as my go to shop for all my Nissan's needs is a blessing!! I purchased this car when my old car was totaled when I got hit by a tractor trailer. I simply love the Nissan.

Best Car I Have Ever Owned.

My Nissan is by far the Best car I've ever owned. It's 15 years old and runs like a top. Everyone thinks it's a newer car. It will probably outlast me. Would definitely look into purchasing a newer Nissan if I were in the market, but as they say " Why fix it if it isn't broken. Consider purchasing a Nissan, you'll love it.

Maintance Free...

For 50,000 miles, all I have done is change the oil and rotate the tires. Nice!!!!

Reliable yet basic

The car is eye catching on the road , runs well and has been dependable. The car itself as far as the dash is basic. The one thing I would comment on is the windows never seem to stay clean. They film up very easily compared to the Mustang I owned for 12 years.

Aging Altima

The car is generally OK, but with age, things go wrong. The trade off to repair bills is that I do not have a car payment each month. My issues were the transmission (which gave at 60,000, but was under a dealer provided extended warrantee), air conditioner (75,000) and an electronic issue that affected the ignition (90,000). I seem to be replacing the battery more often than I would like. I am not sure if that is the car's fault or the battery that was purchased (AutoZone).

All around good vehicle

For a 10-year-old vehicle (I've had it for 8 years), it's in good condition and I've had no major issues. Decent gas mileage; comfortable ride for long distances. (The fact that you need a minimum of 200 characters to submit this Vehicle Review Summary is rather ridiculous. Just sayin')

Turned into lemon at 60k miles

The car was very good upto 60k miles Afterwards, within 1 yr/ 5k miles, we had to replace: Front struts Rear shocks Cylinder coils (A different coil on 3 separate occassions- on the 3rd time, we decided to replace the fourth and final coil as we felt it inevitable that it would fail soon)

Gets Expensive To Maintain With Age

We bought this car used and had it for about 8 years. In that time, the CVT was replaced twice. Fortunately, we had bought an extended warranty. I met a Nissan mechanic once and he admitted that their CVTs are problematic. This model year had a faulty Electronic Steering Column Lock (ESCL) which would leave you not able to start your car no matter what you did. Nissan had a voluntary service campaign to replace the modules but I'm not sure if it's still active. Recently, I spent $2700 on suspension and CV joint work. Now it's developed an exhaust leak in front of the catalytic converter that would require a replacement. Enough. I'm done. If you're considering getting a Nissan, don't. You're probably better off looking at a Honda or Toyota.
