I have driven only Nissans since 1994. Sentra, Pathfinder, Quest now Rogue. It gets great mileage but the transmission went out at 120k. I drive all mine to a minimum of 300k. This car features a transmission with a chain and pulley system which didn't last. The AC/heat vents are plentiful in front with a very small blower in the 2nd row and zero for the 3rd row. The upholstery does not clean well or vacuum well. There is an issue when turning corners with the radio coming on at times when it was off and the CD player never worked right it becomes very hot. If you drive very far the AC may stop working and has a sensor issue. Overall the least of the Nissans that I normally love. It has been disappointing.
The transmission fix was going to be over 6k and fortunately the Nissan Consumer Board did help greatly with that.

Not good quality
Moonroof has given issues after only a couple years. Issue with passenger airbag and Nissan wouldn’t take responsibility. I don’t recommend this car or any Nissan. Expensive experience
I bought my 2016 Nissan rogue from Darlings used cars in Bangor in June 2019. Within four months I needed the first of two transmission repairs. I went through two transfer cases in many problems in between. I am now at year four with the vehicle and now there are problems with my engine. Nissan nor Darlings has really offered much help through the years. I should’ve really questioned the car that I bought when it was marked “manager special”. It was the first new car for me and my husband and we have literally dumped thousands and thousands of dollars into Repair’s. We were sold a bad car, and I really feel like they knew that it was. Be careful when you buy your Nissan rogues especially ones 2016 and older. They were not made very well and come with a lot of problems. And Nissan is a horrible company to deal with.

Crap car
Worst car I ever owned! Nothing but problems from day one. Wish I had never bought it!!!!!! Put more money into this car than I should have had to. Will never buy another Nissan again. Unfortunately stuck with it.

Brake issues
Purchased a new 2016 Nissan Rouge. Under 3 years and 22000 miles the rear brake needed to be replaced and was told only 20% were left on the front brakes. My Toyota Camry had over 100000 miles before replacing my brakes. Will not purchase a Nissan again.

Just ok
I had a for ford edge prior to leasing the rogue. i reluctantly switched because the rogue was less expensive and had better amenities. I can't complain about the pickup or going from v6 to 4 culylinder. However the nissan electronic system (radio, nav, etc) cut off twice unexpectedly. it would t come on until i cut the car off. also the voice command system seems slow to respond. often times it will say it didn't hear me or understand , it's te worse. also every time i start my car the system wants to update my music library on my ipod. maybe because it's plugged in all the time, i don't know. the touch screen isn't alll that sensitive when texting to scroll thrift my playlist. . not impressed at all. the car handled
well in the snow

2016 Nissan Rogue
While I am reasonably priced enjoying my car there are a few things that would keep me from buying another Rogue. Upon starting out the engine is really noisy. The car is fairly light so the ride is not all that great. The car just doesn't feel like quality overall. However, because of my age this will probably be my last new car so I am taking very good care of it. Somebody will be able to buy a low mileage, well cared for machine someday. Thanks for asking

Nissan isn't my favorite
I can honestly say I won't buy any Nissan of any kind again. This is my 2nd Nissan and I haven't been 100% satisfied not even 80% satisfied. It has blind spots, has issue with the gas pedal (when you are stopped and you hit the has pedal to go it doesn't go and when it does it lounges which is dangerous in my opinion. The dealership said there isn't anything wrong with it. Having issues with the floater control for the gas dealership said I was out of warranty but I have had the car for 3 years and that issue should be covered under emissions warranty which should be 5 years. I have to track of my gas by the trip meter. Gas gauge is not reliable. Through my research this is a known issue but since it isn't dangerous (cause harm or death to anyone) there will probably never be a recall which is sad.

2016 Rogue
For the most part, it is a nice vehicle but the fob seems to eat batteries and when the batteries start to fail, having a push button start is a real pain in the you know where. I have replaced 2 batteries in 3 months. You can't start the vehicle if that little miserable battery isn't working. So then the car makes you sit. Have to keep playing with the buttons and get more pissed off and sometimes I am ready to trade it in and get something that starts the old fashion way

I've had my eye on the Nissan Rogue and I'm very pleased with it so far. Smooth ride and seems to be keeping up good gas mileage.

Glad to be a Nissan Rogue owner!
Purchased a slightly used 2016 Rogue with just over 17,0000 miles. It is a base model but still has AM/FM plus Sirius radio with controls on wheel, Bluetooth with controls on wheel, cruise control. Has Goodyear Assurance tires. Ride is a little stiff. 4 cylinder has a lot of pep. So far gas mileage with mostly country road travels has been between 28 & 30 mpg. Not sure it will ever get 35 mpg as it is rated to get under certain circumstances. Has ECO feature which I use when traveling 55 - 63 mpg with few stops. Engine performance in ECO is sluggish but if not starting & stopping or no need for swift acceleration it likely helps gas mileage.

Nissan Rogue
Nissan Rogue is a great vehicle. The 2015 give sufficient leg room. The 2014 is 7" too short in leg room for the driver. It is hard to see through the back and around the side. The backup camera helps. The phone system is horrible. Trying to use hands free and use verbal commands to make phone calls are not good enough. The calls that go the stereo go on and off the stereo which make it sound like the calls drop, making it unsafe for the driver. That is the biggest negative I see. The miles per gallon does not stand up to what is advertised.

I really love my Nissan Rouge. Only wish the back up camera was more clear! It handles great on the road even in bad weather!. It handles well on the road even in bad weather. If could be improved with a button to close the hatch.

Good Value
I bought this car 2 years ago and counting used for about 15,000. Now obviously it's had its fair share of issues. My car specifically the front right passenger seat vibrates. Otherwise for a crossover without being too large is very comfortable for my lifestyle.
