Solid

Great gas mileage, reliable car. Comfortable, strong engine. Living in the Northeast takes a wear and tare on the underside of the car. Exhaust system takes a beating. I would and did put a child behind the wheel, I trust it.

I got what I paid for

I bought my car 12 years ago I do my best to make sure to change the oil regularly I don’t let the gas run low this helps from sucking up trash. It don’t take much but it’s the little things you do to your car that keeps it running good.

Do Some Research, Do Not Buy

Due to improper trans cooling system, CVTs tend to overheat and break down around 100k miles, plus or minus about 25k miles. After an hour driving long distance the car will begin to decelerate, become jolty, and you'll have trouble going above 60mph on the fwy-uphill 50mph. This is due to the CVT fluid overheating! Most people will need to buy an aftermarket trans cooling system and then change your CVT fluid at much shorter intervals-every 20-30k miles. This will help lengthen the life of the CVT if you don't want to get another car. Do some research and highly consider the long term life of this car. There are also a ton of lawsuits regarding Nissan's CVTs; I would NOT recommend.

Would never buy this brand again

I would never buy a Nissan again They have crappy engines. When I bought this car three years ago it was burning oil after changing the clutch and other things I find out I need an engine and his engines are hard to come by and they’re not good engines I would not recommend Nissan ever?

Best Car ever!

My Nissan was the third addition to our family, my husband has an Altima as well as our daughter. We use to be the Chrysler family. Nissan makes a great product that gives good gas mileage & over the years has been practically maintenance free. We have been satisfied customers with no regrets!

It’s a Nice Little Car

It gets us, and a little stuff, where we want to go. It’s not big enough for two adults, three teenagers, and a bunch of stuff, but that’s what the van’s for. My only real complaint is that it doesn’t have automatic headlights like my old car.

Quality problems and trouble starting. Generally good.

One of the covers in the front next to brakes has come out. Missing stopper in driver side seat belt. Resulted in more problems than it seems. Other than inconvenience, when you unhook your seat belt and come out of the car the seat belt hook goes all the way down bringing the belt outside. When you lock the door it locks ensn though the belt is stuck in the door. Once the door could not be unlocked from inside or outside resulting in me to bust the door from inside.

Comfortable with My Vehicle

It's a basic model. I would give closer to a 5 if I had got a more upgraded model from the beginning. But I am comfortable and happy with my car otherwise. Looking forward to possibly another Nissan with my next purchase which hopefully will be several years from now.

I really like my Nissan Sentra this is the second one that I have had. And I would get another one when I am ready to get a new car. It is really good on gas and hasn't gave me any trouble. I would recommend the Sentra to anyone that is looking to buy one.

The nearly perfect car

I just love my Sentra! Great gas mileage. Great styling. Great interior design and function. My model is a "special". The GPS, sunroof, & fog lights are awesome. I've had many compliments on it from my Uber riders. The trunk swallows the largest suitcases, much to their surprise. The only thing I wish I had was a backup camera, folding exterior mirrors, and the driver's sun visor's length shortened just a little so it doesn't hit the rearview mirror when flipped all the way down. An sliding extension on the visor would have been a welcome addition.

Nissan Sentra
