Versa is a crappy car

Since we purchased this vehicle we have discovered what a piece of crap engineering this car contained. Transmission that SHOULD have been recalled, Exhaust system design, crap. I will never buy a versa or maybe Nissan again.

There are better choice's

I've had too many major repairs to recommend this car. Two air conditioners exhaust manifold had to be replaced. The just hasn't held up.

Power window went out.. 300 to fix that.. out of warranty . I should have not gone out..period..

Love the car BUT

Too many recalls, very bad safety rating and months of waiting for recalled parts to arrive. Dealer is fine but not thrilled about having to wait for months for airbag recall and not using passenger front seat.

Small car benefits

I bought the Nissan Versa for good gas mileage, low maintenance, and the Nissan name. I didn't expect much comfort in such a small car, but surprisingly enough, you can fit 4 adults in the car very comfortably. With the hatchback advantage, you can pack a lot into the car. (I moved from Maryland to Arizona and was able to pack a lot of my household items in it, no furniture though) The vehicle only requires normal maintenance (oil changes, fuel injector cleaning and fluids being changed from time to time) to run great and keep running.

Great Car!

I bought the Nissan because it was a standard shift car and the right size for doing a lot of traveling and seeing people in my parish and it has been great in both way.

Good little car and good gas mileage

I bought my car used at the Nissan dealership in Manchester, NH. I had a few issues which were immediately fixed. I have owned the car now for 7 years and just had to replace the muffler. I replaced both sets of brakes last year 2016. The ignition does stick once in awhile still. It's a great little compact car, but I have been able to stuff a lot of stuff into it.

Nissan versa

The care is a good car but I only get 20mpg in a 4 cyl and 110 thousand miles. The brakes are better than al.ost any car ,barely have to.touch them to stop. It's a good car for the money just not a great car

My car

The car is reliable over 113000 miles. In 12 years ownership I have had yo replace mostly basic maintenance brakes and tires. Only downside is I only get 20mpg for a small car I don't think that's very good. My friends truckers that

Great car for the money!

You know, when you buy one of the cheapest cars out there, that it's not going to ride like a sports car, or have a bunch of bells and whistles. That being said, I really like my little Versa. I get great mileage, the seats are super comfortable for long drives, and I haven't had even the slightest mechanical problem in my 7 years of ownership. I have only gotten oil changes, fixed the brakes, and changed the tires. That's it. I'm pushing 80,000 miles and it still runs as good as when I bought it. It may not have much oomph, but I can cross the pass at 80 mph with 4 adults and a trunk full of camping gear. I've never had to try twice to start my car. Very reliable.

Best car I have owned

This is the most reliable car I have ever owned. I have not had to make any repairs other than the regular scheduled maintenance. I cannot say the same thing for any other even more expensive models of other makes.

YEA!

Love my car...in every way one can love an auto. I haven't two hundred more words to write. The car is Terrific for everything I need a car to be. Holds LOTS of Stuff - OK - Too Much Stuff....(See: "Pack Rat" in one of these answers). Hope I have reached 200.....

I've been a Nissan owner since my Datsun 810 in 1988. My next vehicle will be a Nissan large enough to move campus dorm furniture. Rented the car to get home from the hurricane and retrieve my Versa from the driveway.

I love it!

Roomy back seat for passengers or transporting items. Hatchback is more spacious than I thought. It’s economical, a cute body style and great for bopping around town. It’s not a turbo so merging on the hwy is slower, but once you’re in your lane, you can keep up with the best of them. Nice easy to use dashboard as well. I really enjoy driving my Versa. Her name is Venus?
