I so much miss my Forester

I also don't recommend getting a hybrid. Barely uses electric. Also it frequently has lights flashing, then stopping, and one never knows if it's signaling a real problem. Bought the damned thing in a rush and won't do that again. If they ever again sell a Forester in the smaller size I had previously, I'll be in line.

2016 Subaru crosstrek

Bought this vehicle from Glendale Subaru off a lease. Should have paid $2,000 to $3,000 less. They first showed me the car like it had been through an off-road muddy trail. I didn’t notice little details of parts missing and it did have a ding on driver door but dealer wasn’t willing to negotiate a lower price, tires were very worn. I paid about a little over $22,000. Only good is the mileage had 28,000 but I’ve had to replace the stop start battery, regular battery shortly after. Replaced worn tires shortly after. The suspension was ,thank God ,under warranty so that got done. Both axles have been replaced and some other things that may or may not be regular wear and tear but overall I think this car should have had less problems than I was faced with.

It will do

The hybrid part is baloney. Maybe it gives you an extra half mile per gallon. It’s fairly comfortable. The manual is almost incomprehensible. For that reason alone, I’ll likely never buy another Subaru. Maybe I would buy one if they would make a forester like they used to

2016 Crosstrek - Definitely a car for family use.

When I went to Subaru to check this out, I didn't go in blind. There was only one negative that stuck in my mind, and it was the acceleration and the reviews were right, this is not a car for going fast. So I looked at everything else, from safety to the AWD and the features that came with buying the Eyesight Package and I tried driving it. And yes, it is worth it. And don't get me wrong, it's by no means slow, but don't think you're going to be able to "race" people at the stop lights with this car. I think all of the safety features in this vehicle outweigh the need for speed, and at least if my daughter asks me to borrow the car, I am happy knowing that she's safe using it.

LUV my 2016 Crosstrek with EYESIGHT!!!

performance is great! though I do feel the front defroster system is less than adequate - overall the car performances very well in icy, snowy, slick conditions!

Fantastic little car

Super reliable, well built, awesome in the snow. I strap a cargo box and 3 bikes on this car, along with a ton of camping gear and road trip/car camp all over the country. It plows through Colorado snow to get me to my fire snow before the plows come out. The only thing that could be improved is power off the line, she’s a little slow to get going but does great at speed.

Subaru purchase

I love my new crosstrek

I recently purchased a 2016 crosstrek and I love it. It has all the options and safety features available in the industry. Living in Maine the awd drive system in Subaru's alone can not be compared to any other vehicle. The crosstrek is unstoppable and with heated seats and heated windshield for the wipers warm up is quick. Ground clearance is a plus as camping and canoeing is made easy with plenty of room for gear as well as loads of options for canoes, kayaks and more. I highly suggest looking into one if your in the market for a new vehicle. The options for safety and accessories with the crosstreks in comparison to other class vehicles cost wise beats all other brands by far.
