Great 2008 GT Limited

I have owned 6 subarus, they have all been amazing. My 2008 has had a few of the major issues that all turbo subaru's tend to have. But the way it drives and looks when it is clean make it all worth it. My only recommendation to anyone looking for a turbo subaru, is be prepared to fix it eventually. I have replaced 2 turbo and a whole litany of other things but I cannot replace it with anything newer.

2008 Subaru Legacy

Fantastic car. Built tough and very fun to drive. Car is ten years old and have only done regular maintenance, no major repairs, and it runs like new. Full time four wheel drive makes the car very stable.

Best car I have owned

Have had zero issues up to 94k and counting. Drives great and has pep when needed (legacy GT) my only disappointments are that the stereo is subpar and access for a car seat in the back is just ok.

2008 Subaru Legacy

I purchased my Subaru Legacy in May 2007. I now have over 145,000 miles on the vehicle. I feel for the mileage I have received excellent service from my Subaru Legacy. It has never let me set along a road. This is important to me because I am a single person. I feel I received excellent value for the cost of the car. Would I buy another Subaru? You can bet I would.

I love my subaru.

I want to keep it. I want to take care of it and drive it. I really love it. It would be better if the engine wasn't head gasket troubled. Making sure there is oil and coolant is imperative. Keep it clean.

Not overly impressed

Car is 11 years old. Always had problems with doors and windows sticking and freezing in the winter. The engine blew at around 56k, even though I made sure it was kept up with oil, oil changes and radiator fluid, not happy. Lately it has nickel and dimed me to death with front end repairs. The all wheel drive is great though.
