1998 Toyota Avalon

I have been driving since 1978 and have owned many vehicles and have driven many company vehicles. This is by far the best performing, most dependable vehicle. I don't know how long I will have the Avalon, I bought it used with 40K miles and now it has 202K, I intend to drive it as long as I can and when its time to purchase another vehicle it will most definitely be a Toyota.

Love it!

We've had our Avalon for two years, bought it used and we absolutely love it! It has a nice ride, easy handling and braking and lots of interior and trunk space. We have and XLS because I love sunroofs and it has the woodgrain (looking) trim that sets it apart.

My Toyota

It has been the very best car I ever had. I have never regretted buying it used with 30,000 miles on it. It was a leased vehicle and it was like brand new when I purchased it. I want it to last forever but I know that may not happen. It will be 20 years old next year. Classic.

Great Car

I have had this car for 8 years and it has been the most reliable car I have ever had. This car has been through a lot with my two older kids borrowing it. Just this last month I was considering buying a new car and donating my car to a charity. It had broke down on me, but I fixed it and realized that I wasn’t ready to give up my trusted friend. I highly recommend Toyota vehicles they give you want you want, which is Long lasting reliability.

Toyota Avalon

I drive a 1998 Toyota Avalon. My mother in law bought it new and my husband bought it from her in 2002 with 40K mikes on it. It is wonderful to drive, a very smooth luxuary car ride. The engine has get up and go-excellent acceleration which makes it a very safe car to drive. And the stereo is awesome. I have not had to put a lot of money into maintaining this car so it is very economical. I have driven it for so many years I have no idea what I would buy when it’s time to replace it. Most likely a Toyota for sure.

Excellent

I’d say “I Do” to this make/model/year again but unfortunately the new Avalon sits to low to the ground for me. (See Pros/Cons comments). This car is very spacious and I’m struggking to find a back seat that comfortably sits 3 adults. For that reason I was the designated driver, hence 322k miles. I could be a poster child for Toyota and would be most appreciative should you wish to gift me a new Toyota.

Excellent excellent car I have Toyota Avalon 22 told years old I have no problem just change oil ,tires brake pads ,and one time I had a misfire in third cylinder, that’s it how are all excellent excellent, Most reliable car I ever had

My Avalon

Got this car used from my parents with 90,000 miles on it, you would never know it by the way it drives. Very comfortable, good pick up, low road noise. 20 years later you would expect it to be a rough ride.

Not sure you want to know about my 1998 Avalon but it still acts like it is new

This car is over 20 years and old and hardly shows its age. It is usually inexpensive to repair and is reliable. It is the best car I ever owned. That says it all but they want more characters so here they are.

Good older car rw

Older car with typical "old car expenses" I have spent a lot of money on this vehicle but find it has been a good investment. Drives and rides great. Leave the car in Florida in the summer when I am up North.
