Overall the Toyota CHR is excellent Car/SUV no problems And a step up from a Corolla And just below a Camry/rav4 mixed in The transmission is good 8 speed automatic No problem so far I beat the piss out of it I don't recommend that on your vehicle though If it Meet my standard which it does the way I drove it for the 1st 20000 miles And I take care of it but I have a heavy foot So for all you out there thinking about buying one Go ahead and do it you will not regret.

Fragile car
Fun to drive & economical, but front bumper will not withstand a 5 MPH bump and some electronics will not hold up in single-digit temperatures. Someone over six-foot tall will likely have difficulties getting in and out.

No foot room in the back trunk is small even with the seats down
Will never buy one again not for a growing family can't take it on trip truckloads 2.suitcase. not enough room for all the luggage . Without putting the back seat down.
