It is worth pouring money into repairs simply because the car will last forever unless you crash it If you maintain it well - there is rarely any justification for getting rid of it - you see hundreds of these 2000 models all over town still because they last and last and last ...

Best car ever

Maintenance-wise, you can't beat the 2000 Toyota Corolla. It is economical to own and operate and overall, it's the most reliable vehicle I've ever owned. Compared to the all the behemoth SUVs and oversized trucks on the road today, this car is practical, maneuverable, and has a much smaller environmental footprint. The world would be a better place if everybody drove a Corolla.

Do I love my 2000 Toyota Corolla? Yes I do.

Even tho the vehicle year is 2000, it has provided me with great service & comfort. The total mileage to date is 103,600 and still doing great due to Scott Bartlett @ Turner Auto Care. He is my mechanic for years & he has been honest & respectful to me. Thanks Scott.

I own this car and I like it.

I bought this car new in 2000 and I still own it. I still drive it. Seems like I could drive it many more years, I hope. It does the stuff a car should do. People can fit inside it and it has a steering wheel.

Durability

My car is a 2000 Toyota Corolla, I bought it in 2001. It is the best car purchase that I have made. For many, many years, the only major problem that I had were the tires. For years. But as the car aged, different parts needed replacing and I'm still replacing parts, but after I'm finished with that, at only a little over 105k mileage and no car note. I will be one happy camper. Eventually, I will need to get a new car and make no mistake, it will be a Toyota.

2000 Toyota Corolla

It is dependable. I bought it used and my daughter always complains about it because it isn't a big fancy-shmancy car. When it rains, the floor gets wet and I haven't figured out exactly how the water gets in--probably through the sun-roof (rain-roof?). We had a very snowy winter and the streets have been full of pot-holes--the suspension is not great and I don't want to invest a lot of money. Gas mileage not great. I enjoy the sound system and the air conditioner--I use it for commuting, often in heavy traffic. It does the job.

Owned for 20 years so far.

It does the stuff a car should do and It did not cost a whole lot of money. It is good with gas. The car has been driveable for over 19 years. I don't have anything negative to say about it. I bought it so it would last a long time and so far it has. it feels sturdy and is reliable.

Basic ride that is reliable for age

Toyota was a short list choice for my child's first car. We bought 2000 Corolla. It has a peepy engine, easy engine to work on. As it is 22 years old it is having age related repairs but short of a car with a full warranty it is reasonable to keep on the road
