Best vehicle ever made!!

In jest, I call my Land Cruiser my urban assault vehicle. The V8 has plenty of power and the all-wheel drive is great when in the mountain skiing. The suspension (some roll in corners) and gas milage are not the best but everything else is great. I will keep the vehicle forever and pass it down to my son. I would like a new one but they are priced over $100,000 now.

Landcruiser at 240,000 miles

Excellent off-road vehicle, very reliable. Bought with 115,000 miles on it. Very reliable and great in snow, sand or mud. It has been on many off-road trips and always has performed very well. Gas mileage is not great. The one downside.

2001 Land Cruiser still drives like NEW

I also own a Lexus GX 470 and Lexus IS250C but my Land Cruiser with 235K miles on it is still my favorite. Drives smooth, Rides smooth and Handles smooth with all the room to transport anything anywhere. Newer cars are made cheaper so if someone hits me in this car, they will bounce off the 6000 lb. vehicle. Bought it USED with 58k miles on it in 2003 after a Drunk Driver Totaled me and I have felt safe ever since. Put Yokohama Geolandar Hyw. Tires for the smoothest, quiet ride.

Best SUV ever built

That's all there is to it.... The 2001 - 2010 Toyota Land Cruisers are the best and most reliable SUVs ever made. Period If I had to find a flaw, it would be the fuel mileage. But what do you expect from such a beast? I have over 200K on my latest TLC, and plan to drive it for at least 250K more!
