This car has allowed rough ride insignificant Blindspot’s. The low profile top tires make it vulnerable and I have had to replace them often. In addition Toyota refuses to repair excessive oil consumption.

Reliable and easy to maintain. Gas mileage is not as good because the tank is so small. Love the color and it has maintained its good looks since date of purchase. The manual operation still functions.

My friend was moving away and only wanted to take one car. I was looking for a car. Price was right so I acquired this what I thought was a tiny car ( years of driving vans and SUVs ). Found out it is amazingly accommodating to whatever I need to carry. It is reliable, economical, comfortable and has ended up making me extremely happy. Good lesson learned - don't judge a book by its cover !!

Best "big" little car! Almost 180,000 miles and going strong!

Love my Matrix
My car is 9 years old and still gets me where I need to go whether it is just around the corner or a long distance trip. I like that it rides a bit higher than other models like it because it makes it easier to get out of the car and easier to find in a parking lot. It is easy to drive and gets good gas mileage. What is not to like?

Just a basic
Car handles well and is fun to drive. It is a basic so there's no extra frills. I might have liked a different driver seat. Long distance driving is not as comfortable as it could be. Perfect for hauling a few things and even car camping. Looks much like a Prius.
