Love everything about it just 1 little problem when your 5'3 is a little high to get up in, wish was about 3" lower

Not satisfied at all

Bought a 2015 Toyota Rav brand new. First car I ever bought on my own after my divorce. But right away the drivers seat got stuck and had to take it to the dealer to be fixed. This problem still exists but had to learn to fix it because it over $1000 for a new seat which I was not informed about by Toyota until after the warranty. I really should have taken this as a sign and returned the vehicle then. This car is so loud I literally get a headache when I drive it. I thought there was a hole in the muffler or something but toyota says it’s fine. The navigation/radio died. Of course toyota will look into it for a nice chunk of change. I’ve learned to drive without music even though listening to music on my long drive to and from work was my favourite thing to do. Now the roof is leaking water from both the driver and passenger sides (front and back). Dealer confirmed the drains are not clogged. They are recommending to seal the sunroof at a hefty price of course. If that doesn’t work I will need to replace the sunroof which per the dealer, will cost over $5,500. At this point I’m better off throwing this car away and buying a new one…not toyota. I’m so disappointed in Toyota and their junk of a car. There is absolutely no reason why your car which costs thousands of dollars leaks water. This is definitely a flaw on their part but they are very quick to pin it on you. Thanks for nothing toyota.

A Great Car, However...

Everything is wonderful about my 2015 Toyota Rav4, except that there's a persistent, continuous and maddening vibration sound that doesn't go away. No mechanic so far has been able to locate its source. I'm pretty desperate for it to stop. Online reviews show that others are not having this issue with their Rav4s, so I am seeking what the problem is! My 2 star review is specifically because of the constant vibration sound. Otherwise, it's a good car. I would definitely have preferred another model if I'd known I'd have to suffer this kind of aggravation every time I drive it.

Not Impressed with Gas Mileage

I bought this car because my Subaru needed new head gaskets at 80k miles and I know Toyotas have better engine technology. I am disappointed at the cheap level of finish in the interior and seat fabric which attracts hair and dirt. You can only get power seats and leather on the Limited. And that leather is fake. The engine is strong but city driving barely gets 20mpg. Highway driving is 25 to 26mpg. I think the ride quality is harsh. Would I buy this car again? No.

Not impressed

It is most likely the newer way vehicles, in general-all makes, are made. Many blind spots. Call me old fashioned but I grew up checking my mirrors/window views and driving trucks, for a manufacturer to think one is to rely only on a camera is a bizarre concept. Many blind spots in the windshield area. I miss my 2005 camry

Disappointed in the little things

Little things bug me. Can't clean the back window when you fill up because of the overhang of the top of the window and the wiper doesn't lift up enough to get under it. There is no place for a purse, garbage can, box of tissues. No cubbie for change. Can't ignore phone calls because it answers before you hear it ring The trim on the top comes off every time I go through the car wash. The back hatch doesn't work right despite the promise to fix it at purchase The radio drops the signal every 30 seconds or so. Then will be fine for a hour, then will shut off again. Head rest not placed for shorter people.( I'm 5"4) It has a lot of road noise. My 2003 Highlander got much better gas mileage. I wish I wouldn't have traded it in. I feel like got screwed pretty bad. I will not buy from this dealership again. It's the same high pressure bull crap that gives car dealership the bad reputation they have. I am embarrassed that I even went there because I am smarter then that.

Love it! Rav4 XLE

Love the car so much, wish I had chose the Limited , for I would like the added features. Sad, too late now. Should have shopped longer before making a final decision.

Second Rav4

I love the upgrades from the 2012 model. Nicer interior styling, quieter ride, touch screen display, and rubber mats! I miss the tire placement, because you lose some storage space in the back.

Great mileage and performance. Handling needs work, road noise and squirrelly when you accelerate hard. Seat a bit hard.

Purchase of New Rav4

I have had an old Honda for years and it was a stick to boot. I am not used to the automatic transmission but am quickly getting comfortable. This is a wonderfully different vehicle that anything I have ever had. I love everything about it so far!

Excellent vehicle

I love my 2015 Rav4. I am only 5 feet tall so I wish I had power seats as I still need a cushion to see. I also wish I had an automatic hatchback lift as I fine it difficult to close.Otherwise it is great. It is wonderful on snow! Also 3 months after I bought it I was rear ended by someone at about 50 miles per hour. There was damage but neither myself or my dog were hurt. I highly recommend the Rav4

Great vehicle

The Rav4 provides a lot of safety, great comfort while driving. It makes me feel safe and the all wheel drive is great in the snow as well. Gas mileage is fantastic as well for an suv. It carries things well and during holidays it's great with the privacy screen in back to hide those precious xmas gifts for everyone. Great bang for your buck as well. They run extremely well and it makes me feel very safe to know no matter where I'm going I'm in a Toyota Rav4
