Great Looks, Great Options, Horrible quality & performance

I was absolutely in love with my 2019 Rav4 Adventure when it was brand new. Great aesthetics, great details and options, aka "bragging rights". After only 2k miles, the transfer case needed to be replaced! My factory sealed brand new car has already had major repairs. Brand new I was averaging 29/30 mpg. Now it's at a solid 27 mpg at only 4k miles. The driver's seat has a ton of modifying options, but the lumbar support sits too high and only pushes in the middle of my back. The seats are not comfortable after about an hour of sitting. I think it has great potential, but the new and improved technology is buggy and needs to be updated. I am 40% happy with my purchase.

Rust

Rust all over .... ......,......why all the rust aften 3 year now. Rust in suspensjon, calippers , bad rust under car all over. I dont Know how Toyota can deliver and sale away crap car like this. It shouldnt be allowed.

2019 Rav-4 Limited

Having issues with radar cruise control - when it works fantastic - however if cruising at say 55 u have 8 cars distance stopped ahead, instead of stopping it picks up speed - very nerve racking - One time it abruptly stopped when there was no car in front - also the auto climate control - when 87 outside set at 75 - fan speed only 1 - stay in sun for 1/2 hr - temp inside is 130 - fan speed at only 2 max. Reported these issues was told that is the way it works - called Toyota direct and was told basically I need to read the manual. Only had car since 4/26/19 - trade-in a 2012 Chrysler Town and Country Touring L with only 13,000 - worse decision I ever made -

Need to change

I leased my SUV for last 3 years. I DONT like the door handle. It was designed VERY close to the hinge which makes it lack leverage and hard to pull the door close. When I press the gas pedal, it is rocks forward.

New car shouldn’t have problems.

I love my car but I guess I’ll have to keep taking it back until it’s quiet. The color is great, at first I wanted the blue but glad the blue I wanted wasn’t in this model. Front seat needs a cushion, a little uncomfortable.

1919 RAV 4 Limited Hybrid

Al in all a great vehicle. After driving 11,000 kms we're becoming more aware of the excellent features of the Limited version. However, from experiences, we only trust the radar cruise about 90% of the time. Frequently the radar does not detect the vehicle in front and even wants to accelerate when it should be braking -- scary! On a recent 600 km trip the Hybrid produced 100 km of driving on just 4.4 litres of fuel.

Scout is vey poor

I have been in Cities and also on the interstates and have either lost the Scout or have been given the incorrect directions, it is NOT reliable=don't know why Toyota even installed that app when there are others that are better.

2019 RAV4 Hybrid Limited

Full disclosure, we did not buy the RAV4 at Parker. It is a good vehicle for economy with the gas/hybrid combo. Our only issues are that we inherited a gas tank design flaw that was known at the time of sale but not communicated to us, not cool. The gas dial would show ie: 1/4 tank or less and then only take 6 gallons. It has a 14.5 tank! It took until April 2021 to finally have a fix for the tank, and fuel delivery system. We took it in and had both replaced and now on our first fill up after, we were able to put 13 gal in, so for now it appears this is corrected. Fingers crossed. The other issue we have found aggravating is that it has a software package "Entune" that we have been told we cannot disable and not go with, so each time we start the car, it comes up asking if we want to download now or later. No option to do not ask me again. Very frustrating. We did not want to go thru the gyrations that Entune requires, but it is not reasonable to have to keep saying "later" to shut it up after 2 years of having the vehicle. There has got to be a better noise or alert that can be put on this car when in reverse. People keep asking me what is wrong with your car. The noise sounds like something is rubbing (metal on metal or such) but it is not. This could be improved but does not impact performance. Maybe they will come up with a fix or replacement to offer..... We love the car, and expect to do some road trips in it soon, so looking forward to the mileage that it gives. We are getting 38/mpg combo of gas and EV mode.

I bought this 2019 in 2020 with 50 miles on it. I have put on 43k in 1.5 years with no issues. The gas mileage gets better the more it is driven. Summertime backroads-46mph, summertime highway-36mpg, wintertime highway-32

I have had two Rav 4s, kept them 5 years and never had a mechanical problem with either. The only poor feature is the navigation system that doesn't work well but has been improved in newer models. I like the car.

So far So good

I've only had the car 24 hours but did have to drive it home on an icy road in the dark for nearly 2 hours. The car drove great and I got comfortable quickly. It's SO good looking - sporty and rugged.

I love my new 2019 RAV4! There are lots of things that you can count on to help you drive safely - lane safety, back-up camera, head-on collision alert, blind spot alert, etc. It also seems to be great on gas mileage.

LOVE MY RAV4

With my back surgery, I needed a vehicle I could virtually slide right into without having to bend over or trying to get out of a vehicle that sits low to the ground. The RAV4 has been perfect for me. I have the comfort of getting in and out without injury, the comfort of the lumbar support & heated leather seats which is soothing for my back. I love all the safety features which gives me peace of mind when traveling.

2019 Hybrid RAV4 Limited

This is my third RAV. I have had my new one for five whole days. I absolutely love it! It blows my previous two RAVs (2013 gas limited, 2017 hybrid limited) out of the water, hands down! The redesign in and out are superb. The interior is well designed and very user friendly. Think cup holder locations and seat heat toggle locations! It handles and corners so smoothly. The ride is smooth and the engine and transmission is quiet. Customizing multimedia preferences is very easy. I barely have to read the manual to know what to do, it’s that intuitive. Although it looks bigger than my previous RAVs, it’s actually 2 inches shorter. The only weird thing is the placement of the roof cross bars. It’s limited to one location which crosses over the middle of the moon roof. Everything else is fantastic!

This is a great vehicle. Rides nicely. More quiet than previous models. The styling is sporty. The color is what I wanted, silver and black. The interior is really nice. Premium upgrades. I have only driven it 200 miles so I am not totally familiar with everything.

RAV 4 Adventure

This is my first new car in 22 years and if it had not been for a medical problem, I probably would have bought a new car. I have always been a Ford product person, but my husband's experience with his 4Runner convinced me to buy Toyota. I had also recommended the Rav 4 to my best friend, so how could I buy anything else? I only have 65 miles on the car as of today. so will need to drive a few more miles... but so far so good. I am still learning about all the functions and nuances of the car

The 2019 Rav4 Limited Is The Bomb!

I love my new Rav4. It is everything I had hoped it would be. The Navigation and Safety features are so easy to use. This is the first time I have had my cell phone enabled for hands-free use in a car. Toyota thought of everything when they designed this one.
