Great truck

Get the frame issues fixed and this is a fabulous truck. Everything else about this truck is great.It'll run forever as long as you change the oil and keep up on the maintenance. The body looks like it was from showroom.

reliability

I've owned this truck for 19 years, and it has been reliable and functions well; I only have had to replace the starter, in all these years, I change the oil and filter every 3000 miles. It is a little underpowered when carrying a load, and climbing over mountain highway roads.

2004 Toyota Tacoma TRD SR5 4WD

I have low mileage (65000) on this truck that I purchased new 1/2005. The only thing that failed was the waterpump a couple years back. Not even a lightbulb failed. New tires excluded. Well built using very high quality parts. Just keeps rolling without any worries. Still a nice looking vehicle.

It is true, they are bulletproof. You do your part with maintenance, stay within the limits of what the truck is designed for, and change the fuel filter more than never, even though Toyota doesn't mention it.

Survey said to “rate your Tacoma.” I’ve been driving it for 17 years; babies, outings, hurricane response, life in general! If I update my ride, it’ll be another one ... and whoever gets this one will get a steal of a deal that they can rely on!

2004 Tacoma, 4door, 4WD

I worship my 04 Tacoma. It is the best vehicle ever. I smile every time I see it—seriously. Reliable, comfy and fun to drive—I’ll keep it as long as possible! Purchased an aluminum canopy this time around. The snappy red is perfect with my black truck. Love this canopy; super light and functional.

Best investment

Love my truck!!!! Best investment i ever made. Been paid off over 10 years & still looks good & runs great! Travelled across the states twice pulling a trailer & was fantastic on the road. Recommend this truck!

Rugged , very dependable, standard trans . TRD carries lots of heavy payload , towed good sized flatbed trailers , and small boats . 250 G odo . 4x4 .comfortable seats . Comfortable kind trips . Standard stick with V6 peppy and fun to drive.

Absolutely reliable

Can't praise this truck enough. Never let me down, can't even bring myself to getting a later model one as have become so attached to it. There are smoother rides and maybe better mileage but I won't part with this one.

Tacoma is a very practical vehicle.

Perfect for hauling, great on gas, great back up vehicle. Oil changes are simple do it yourself jobs for under fifty dollars. Summer the A/C works great and in the winter the heater doesnt dissappoint. Handles great on and off road.

2004 Toyota Tacoma, sturdy, reliable, and economilcal

This little truck, though small and easy to handle, can take a beating as a work truck and also clean up for my every day vehicle to get me around for all my driving needs. It has never failed to start in every weather condition, has had no major work needed, and has been reliable on even hauling of heavy duty landscaping loads.

Awesome lil trucks. Our family owns 4 of them.

Great lil trucks we have had nothing but good to say about these lil work horses. We have 4 and one has under 30 k on it. A guy just offered us more than we originally paid for it new in 2004. That’s holding it’s value well! The other 3 have over 300k each. Still dependable enough to drive all over California for my Construction commutes.

Awesome rig

Great rig for a 2004 Tacoma. Toyota always pulls thru on quality!!! Love my truck. Handles great original stereo with crank windows!!!! Over all horses are still there. Came with an awesome cab as well!!!!!

'04 Tacoma TRD

I'm 66 years old, and have owned MANY vehicles. My Tacoma is my all-time FAVORITE! It's an '04 and I bought it used in 2006 with 18,000 miles on it. It now has 174,500 and still running strong. Hope it will last the rest of my lifetime. Virgil

This truck has been paid off for over 1 years and it has been the best little truck ever. I will be getting another when the time is right. Trucks performance has been amazing and it is a load of fun taking places most can't go. Did great at the dunes too.

Sturdy Work Truck

This is the most reliable vehicle, just keep maintainance up and oil changes when its suppose to be done and replace normal wear of brakes or filters and boom your ready to go, I have traveled to California many times and all over with no issues and would go anywhere in it without a worry.

I HAVE THIS TRUCK FOR LAST 14 YEARS. IT STILL RUNS LIKE NEW AND VERY FEW MAINTENANCE NEEDED. I HAVE BEEN DOING OIL CHANGE REGULARLY AND UNITECH HAS BEEN DOING IT. I HAVE NO ISSUES WITH IT. ONE THING I FILL IT UP WITH 91 GAS
