Good idea, but too bad Toyota doesnt listen to their customers

I have had 2 gen2 Tacomas, other than a few small issues, no heated mirrors, no sunroof they were great. I opted for the 1st of the supposed "New" gen3. I regreted this alot. Many parts and body parts (cab, bed ) from the old truck were used. And when issues became aparrent ( transmission shifting, low transmission fluid, weak\low powered engine, no grease in the u-joint splines, thin windshield glass, just to name a few) Toyota just wont listen to their customers. If you say its a new truck, dont use left over parts. I guess with all things, times change...and Toyota quality has fallen to the wayside. I cant believe I paid so much for a pos. Anybody want a used Tacoma!

Tacoma SR5 Double Cab

Tacomas have become too large with oddly aggressive styling. A simpler, smaller, and better designed vehicle would have greater appeal. Expectations of reliability and Toyota support drove the purchase of this vehicle at full MSRP price.

2016 Tacoma TRD Off Road

This truck needs to be completely redesigned to be smaller, more nimble, quieter, and more affordable and economical. The auto trans is constantly searching and the seats are terrible (no heat or cool, no power, too small, limited adjustments).

Underpowered but aesthetic is good

I love the looks of the truck but the engine is way underpowered especially when towing at the rated towing capacity. Plus it's noisy. There are plenty of aftermarket parts for these which is nice but I wish I would have purchased a 2nd gen model instead.

2016 Toyota Tacoma 4X2

This is a great vehicle. I was impressed with all the safety features. The number of airbags, anti-lock brakes and overall structure of the vehicle shows that Toyota invests time and attention to providing their customers with a quality and safe vehicle. The back up camera was a nice addition. The overall ride of the vehicle is smooth. The cab has a lot of room and lighting. Another bonus feature which I haven't seen a lot is the locking glove box. With a long history of purchasing Toyota trucks, I feel I have received more truck for the money which is really great nowadays!

Great truck

I love this truck. Great overall truck with lots of options. Two door, four door. Short bed or long bed. Lots of different things to choose from. Plus an overall great looking truck.

I absolutely love Tacoma trucks. I have owned several and all have been great running trucks.

My 2016 Tacoma has this new high end Entune radio system, and to be honest I was reluctant to buy with so many new electronics. To my unfortunate luck the system started acting up just after I purchased the truck and now has Audio buttons that don't work just after my warranty expired. To my astonishment the replacement radio was a whopping $5027.00 to replace with a new one and $1045.00 plus exchange for a refurbished with a 12 month warranty. For a truck less than two years old and never abused I think this is totally nuts. My last Toyota Tacoma, a 2007, had 165000 miles with the original (and better sounding) radio. At this moment I regret the upgrade.

Beautiful truck!!

I've had a 1987, 1988, 1999 and now a 2016 Tacoma. I keep up on the maintenance and have had a dependable ride. The 2016 gave me some doubt. I had an oil leak that was causing me some stress for about a year. Toyota of York did fix it after another dealer seemed to have issues with getting this done. I am happy with it. I hope to get 200k miles out of it, minimum. Other than that little blip, I do love this truck...the design, color and feel make me a very happy customer.

I like the my 2016 tacoma however... in 3 years and under 24k miles I've replaced tires and battery. would've thought I'd get more time / miles out of both. also had warranty recall work done at sparks toyota in myrtle where they forgot to tighten wheel nuts and lost all but one on highway 17 before I could exit at docks with back wheel coming off.... literally. the tacoma truck is ok but definitely disappointed in items and service mentioned above

White paint chipping off

Product problem with white paint chipping on cars and trucks - Toyota recalled autos but won’t recall Tacoma trucks - finish is also coming off the plastic grille - I have the limited edition and mechanically it is a great auto

2016 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport 4x4

Nice styling. Smooth engine and transmission with very good power. The interior is much quieter and the suspension is improved dramatically giving a great ride both on and off road.Very nice interior. Very happy with my truck.

My 4th Tacoma!!

The more I drive my 2016 Toyota Tacoma, the more I appreciate the constant upgrading, designing, and technology they put into these vehicle's....Their tough trucks! And I can rely on them to get me to where I want to go with no worry......I started with a 2 wheel drive back in 1985....I'm on my 3rd 4 wheel drive. I gave my youngest son my 2000 4 wheel drive Tacoma and it's still running strong with close to 200,000 miles on it and still doesn't burn a drop of oil......
