Love this truck, but gas mileage isn't great.

I absolutely love the look, fit, and feel of this Tundra, which is why I chose this truck after looking at everything on the market. I bought the platinum edition hoping there would be nothing I lee I would want in a truck. I think at this trim level, 100v power should be included, the side mirror folding buttons and adjustment buttons are not backlit, which make folding or unfolding your mirrors in a parking garage challenging as you fumble to find the button. The gas mileage is less than great and more like poor. Would really like to see Toyota improve on this. So, with these complaints, why did I buy it? Extremely quiet for a truck of this size. Almost zero road noise. Infotainment system is very nice, about middle of the road. Parking sensors are great. Power steering wheel and cooled seats are a huge bonus. Mostly though, the rugged look and feel of this truck make me feel like I can own this forever is I ever kept a truck that long… ;-)

Great truck so far

I have only put 5,000 miles on the truck at this point, so I cannot review to longevity. In all other matters I am very pleased, smooth ride, lots of power and the fuel economy has not been bad. On the highway average between 16-19 depending on terrain and in town 14-16. For a four wheel drive truck that has this much horse power and torque I am very happy with those numbers plus this thing turns on a dime. Thanks Toyota!

Toyota Tundra's Rock!

We have owned a totyota tundra for the past 8 years and just bought a 2015 toyota tundra. We couldn't be happier. It is the same exceptional truck with a lot of extra high tech gadgets thrown in. The only complaint we have is some of the storage upfront like the glove box is smaller and the roof storage has been minimized as well from the 2007 model we recently owned. But the added storage under the back seat is great. And the trucks overall performance can't be beat. We feel like we are already gettimg better gas mileage with the 2015 than we did with the 2007 and we have't even got the 2015 broken in yet.

Tundra TRD PRO

The Truck is really well built, This is the third Tundra that I have owned, and like this one so far the most. The only negative is the fuel mileage.

Functional but not fancy.

Great truck. Could use more storage cubbies. Runs great and comfy. Toyota has excellent resale value.

Tundra

I love the truck, besides the few things that I have issues with. The fact that BOTH seats aren't power. On long trips, my husband drives and I can't lower my seat. I am short, and my feet don't comfortable reach the ground. I have 2x6 boards that I have on the floor to make it comfortable for me. I think that Toyota needs to work more short women into their truck design, since I believe more women are driving trucks these days. I am not happy that, in just over a year, the BSM monitor went out. But, the folks at I.T. did a good job getting it fixed. I would also like to see trucks that come with a bigger truck bed. 6.5 would be better... What I would really like to see, is a Sienna on a 4x4 truck chassis. I LOVED that vehicle, but it couldn't pull our camper...

Great Truck

This is a well made vehicle that is a pleasure to drive! I can't believe that it's taken me this long to give Toyota a try! Not sure I'll go back to Chevy!!

TOYOTA TUNDRA, AN AMAZING MACHINE!

THIS TRUCK IS ABSOLUTELY AWESOME! IT IS A TYPICAL TOYOTA, IT'S BUILT WITH PRECISION AND TOP QUALITY COMPONENTS. WHEN YOU DRIVE THIS MACHINE YOU CAN FEEL THE QUALITY IN THE RIDE AND POWER. EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS TRUCK IS TOP NOTCH, FROM THE POWER TO THE QUIET AND COMFORTABLE RIDE. PRIOR TO THIS PURCHASE I OWNED A 2005 4 RUNNER THAT I BOUGHT NEW. I TOWED JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING YOU CAN IMAGINE, PUT 222,000 MILES ON IT AND NEVER HAD A CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COME ON, NOT EVEN ONCE! I REPLACED THE SPARK PLUGS AT ABOUT 150,000 MILES, REAR SHOCKS AT ABOUT 200,000 AND 3 OR 4 SETS OF TIRES. I CHANGED OIL REGULARLY AND I BELIEVE THIS VEHICLE WILL GO ANOTHER 100,000 MILES EASILY. THERE IS NO OTHER VEHICLE MADE THAT CAN LAST LIKE A TOYOTA. I TRADED THE 4 RUNNER IN FOR THE NEW TUNDRA AND I KNOW THE NEW TRUCK WILL BE JUST AS RELIABLE.

GOOD TRUCK HAPPY WITH WONDERING WHAT HAPPENED TO THE BRAKE CONTROLLER HARNESS THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN INE THE GLOVE BOX..I NEED INFO ON WHAT AND HOW TO HOOK UP A BRAKE CONTROLLER.

The Best truck ever made!

I have had every truck Tundra, F-150,Silverado,sierra,and Ram. The Tundra is by far the best. The Tundra sounds great and runs even better. It has the biggest cab I have ever been in and is so roomy for my family. The Tundra has never let me down. It tows so well that you can sometimes forget you have a trailer behind you. I cannot say enough good things about this truck. The best part of the Tundra is the Engine. Because the 5.7L engine is a real engine. Its an engine that would make your Dad proud. The Tundra is also the most AMERICAN made truck on the market.

Excellent Truck

The Tundra truck is one of my most favorite trucks followed by the Toyota Tacoma. Have had ZERO problems and the ride is superb!
