Beware of defective passenger seat heater

Dangerous high temperature reached and doesn't cool down at shut-off either. My Beetle went in for second time with this issue and still not repaired. This symptom could easily continue unnoticed for single occupants like myself not turning the passenger heater on. Very frustrating

Volkswagen Denim Beetle Convertible

Great vehicle! My only 2 complaints are that it didn't come with the navigation system or fancy wheels. I guess I could have them installed after the fact. Then it would be perfect.
