2001 VW EuroVan camper

What's not to love. We had a 1999 Eurovan camper with 270000 miles when we started looking for a replacement. We looked at a lot of campers, RVs and such, but they were all too big, more than we really needed and not something you would want to drive around town as a second vehicle. We were considering putting in a new motor in the 1999 when I walked into the showroom of our local VW dealer and there was the 2001 with only 60000 miles and in excellent condition. Love at first sight.

2001 Eurovan camper

We loved our 1999 Eurovan camper and were unable to fine anything new that came close to replacing it when we were up to 267,000 miles until I took it in for service and there in the showroom stood a 2001 version with only 60,000 miles in almost mint condition. Love at first sight and it went home with me. You can sleep, cook and camp in it as well as park in most garages and parking places. We get pretty good mileage, can and do haul plants, rocks, groceries and more in it. If you can find one with low mileage or one that has been reconditioned by Go Westy grab it and enjoy. We aren't selling ours.

We are so excited to be able to replace our 1999 VW Eurovan with the 2001 model.

What a surprise and joy to replace our 1999 Eurovan that had 267,000 miles with the 2001 model with only 60606 miles and so clean and in good repair. We had despaired of being able to replace it and none of the camper van models on the market met with our needs or satisfaction. We have been VW camper vans for many years and vintages. The 17 years we spent with the 1999 model was a love affair, but marked with increasing needs for repairs as it aged, but worth keeping it in working order since it couldn't easily be replaced until we found our new old 2001 model.
