Great little car.

The GTI is the only car a true enthusiast needs. It’s a capable sport car, it gets 29 mpg on the highway and I can pack a dorm room in the back. My car is 12 years old with 164,000 and I commute in it 130 miles a day. Who could ask for more.

Fun, but expensive to maintain.

Lots of the repairs are not for the part time mechanic. It's over engineered to some point- like puting the thermostat inside the timing belt, and water pump, have to drop the motor 3 inches to replace... stuff like that. To the car's credit- it's a blast to drive, and great on a long trip; comfortable, and plenty of power available. Mileage is ok- around 25 to 32 MPG depending on speed and traffic stops.

Volkswagen exceeded our expectations

Haven't found a flaw, the Fahrenheit is truly amazing. All the power you need and the gas mileage you want. More than a sports compact, we've had it for less than a week and already put 500 miles on him. We took a last minute road trip with not a penny to spend so we layed down the back seat and slept like babies. The little extras like footwell lighting and dual control of the side mirrors is just a few things that stand out, it's just an amazing car!!

I love this car

I bought mine new and I have put 142 k miles on it. It has been a joy to drive. The car is quick, responsive and handles really well. I have had no significant problems with the car and in ten years there has only been one day that it wouldn't get me to work. As an almost 50 year old who got my license the day I turned 16 this is definitely my favorite car that I have owned.

Love my Fahrenheit gti

I've had my car for a few years now and I love it. It handles like a dream and is always turning heads. Well worth every penny for upkeep.
