A good car as long as y take good care of it,and this is the second routan i owned. Comfy and reliable.i will buy a newer model again...................................................................

Not a real Volkswagen

It's a lead sled. We go through front tires every 18 months. It's decently comfortable for the five of us and two dogs and our 2011 has a third row screen capable of showing a different movie from the second row. It's pretty cool but you have to have 4 bluetooth headsets to make that happen and we don't. We bought it used in 2014 with less than 20k miles. Thankfully we purchased the extended warranty because it would've cost us around $10k in repairs by now and it's just about to hit 73k miles. We may have gotten a bit of a lemon, but next kid mover will be a Honda Odyssey.

Reliable

They no long make this model. It a mostly a Chrysler with some VW reliability. 125,000 mike so far an no horrible issues. Had issues with one sliding door over the years but other than that it’s ben a good vehicle

My favorite van!

I have been SO HAPPY with my Volkswagen Routan Van!! I purchased my van 6 years and couldn't be more pleased! After first riding in our friends Routan back in 2011, and finding it so comfortable, I searched online and found my perfect van! I am thrilled with the ride, gas mileage, comfort, just EVERYTHING about it!
