Good car for commuting college kids.

I bought this car for my daughter because it had all of the maintenance records from volvo. We keep up with the scheduled maintenance and the only issue we have had was the radiator hose wearing out. 1 hose was leaking so I just had them both replaced. $200 and back to running great.

Excellent car... If you can be patient with Ford's underlying influence.

I love my car. I bought it used and have frequently been impressed with it's timeless design, comfort, and features. But that comes at a cost - unfortunately, one can't ignore the fact that it's a Ford under all the body panels. That said, it's spirit is very Volvo, and if one can overlook it's frustrations, it can be a very good car!

Solid Fun Driving

My family of 4 would rather drive my old S40 than their newer cars as it is easy to drive and the media center makes it simple to interface the iPhones.
