2012 Volvo S-80.

I've owned Volvos for the past 50 years, with one holding up for 330,000+ miles. I'm 6'4" tall and like the leg and head room. It handles very well in traffic and when I need to step on it, the Turbo really kicks in. Because for the past decade I've had a short commute to work but needed to drive, m y S-80 has only 85,000 miles on It. The trunk is not big, but is adequate. It has had some mechanical problems, but nothing out of the ordinary. I'm concerned about Volvo going electric, but that's likely a future fact of all car owner life.

Volvo S80 (2012)

My 2012 Volvo S80 has had up well with the exception of its electronics. It is comfortable to drive and has plenty of power when I need it. Not a lot of trunk space, but I didn't buy it fot think space.

Driving in comfort with confidence

What can I say? I love my car. It's reliable, safe and very comfortable. I haven't had a car I felt comfortable in for long road trips in a long time, and this is by far the best road trip car I've every had. There are plenty of USB outlets, the sound system is great -- which I use for phone calls, too. The back seat folds down so that I can place long items through the trunk. I haven't used that feature yet, but probably will pack up my cross country skis and deliver to my daughter one of these days. It has a moon roof, which I love and use often. Yet, if I'm parking in a sunny location, I close the upholstered shade and keep the car from too much greenhouse effect. This is a spacious, quiet, powerful vehicle. Love it.

S80

I've owned a 1990 240, 2006 S60 and now a 2012 S80. Although the 240 lasted seventeen year I am most happy with the S80. It's comfort, stable ride and perfection in design surpasses the other two models. At present I have about 73,000 miles on the S80 and I look forward to the next promised 240000 miles and teaching my 4 month old granddaughter to drive with this same vehicle when the time comes! Quality vehicle at a reasonable price

Have never had a problem in my 6 years of ownership. Have had many vehicles in all price ranges and give this one my most favorable rating and would highly recommend it to anyone. Really a fun luxury car.

Love my S80!!

I have been a Volvo owner since 2005. I put over 500,000 miles on my first S80 and that is what sold me the Volvo brand. I drive for a living so being in a Volvo makes me feel not only safe and secure but also comfortable!! I have literally driven over 2 million miles in Volvos and absolutely love their reliability! Volvo owner for life!!

Love My Volvo!

I love my Volvo! It is the right size for me and my family. I t's very easy to park.The fold-down rear seats allow me to transport more than just people. It is very comfortable to drive which is important because I have 1200 mile trips several times a year. Gas mileage on the highway is 28 mpg; in the city about 24. There are enough "horses" under the hood to give great pick up when I press the accelerator. When the time comes, I hope I can duplicate benefits of this vehicle.
