I have been dealing with service rep Tom Crow for over 15 years now. He does a super job and I trust him competely - he would not rip me off. I have now purchased 3 new pickups from All Star Ford starting in 2000 and he is a big reason behind that.

Consider buying here, look elsewhere for service.
I only ask once when I'm dealing with a retail or sales business. If the answer is unsatisfying or irritating I look for solutions elsewhere as I'm not willing to spend money where my business isn't appreciated or promises aren't kept. In the case of All Star Ford there were only a few hiccups during the purchase (near the end of the purchase discussion it was revealed they didn't have the specific vehicle I wanted and during the signing of the papers I had to catch and correct the warranty period which was listed as shorter than agreed) and over all we are happy with the car. Then the problems began (and continue...), with long delays to hear from the service manager supposedly assigned to us, our sales person having to eventually step in when the service manager didn't return calls. After getting the additional work included in the purchase completed I noticed damage to the vehicle as well as some issues that could be manufacturer defects or a software problem. When I brought these issues to the attention of the service manager he showed a distinct lack of concern and insinuated I the damage was actually my fault (it wasn't present prior to being in their care for 24hrs), then stated maybe an outside body shop could deal with the defective body panels because he couldn't do anything and finally informed me that scratching to certain panels was present on all their vehicles due to the way the vehicles were cleaned by their staff. The sales manager interceded onto behalf with respect to the damage but the scratches were not addressed and I was told the body panel fitment wasn't an issue (which is fine as long as there isn't any paint chipping down the road, they look fine). Overall I am happy with the sales team and I really like the car though we are still waiting on a service appointment to deal with the issues SYNC is having (freezing, not seeming to hear my voice, changing settings). However I do not intend to have this vehicle services at this dealership going forward and I would not recommend patronizing their service department to anyone due to a pervasive attitude of lax attention to detail and an apparent disinterest in customer satisfaction.
